I don't hold my breath fro tracking information. Maybe it's a Canadian quirk, maybe I consistently enter my e-mail address incorrectly when ordering from Oath, but I think I've received a single one in all my time supporting Lotrek and Melina, and I got it after receiving the deck(s).

I only opened the black/silver deck.
If these test print decks are very good, I can't imagine what the official decks will be like.
Again, not excited about the future stuff until First Year rewards are in my hands.

I see, if only 1st year then you are not eligible, if I understand correctly.

... That's kinda not how I understood it. I mean year 1 patrons are still waiting for their rewards as well so why aren't they eligible?

I think they are referring to 1st year as a Patron, but year 3 of the Patreon. Participants in Year 1 and 2 were included. No doubt that Year 3s will see something at this rate. Lol

Straight from Lotrek on previous Patreon posts, hope this clears things up:
The Royal Silk deck which is the our first “Redemption Story” is the Red version, which was meant to be part of the first year’s Patreon. As you know, we decided to reprint all Royal Silk decks, as we felt that there were things that should be improved, although many people don’t see how this deck can be improved... So, the first Redemption deck is the red sibling of the Purple edition which was offered as “Royal Silk Test print”. Unlike the purple edition, this one -and all Redemption Stories- is available exclusively to Patrons.
...
Since you are sending now the Patrons 2020 -2021 gift deck (Royal Silk gold/silver), are we still getting a gift deck for the torture of endlessly waiting helpless in your cruel, perfectionist hands? -OF COURSE! With the Royal Silk reprint (which is finally very close to completion) we are reprinting the gift decks, too. These are a bit different than the first print, following the changes I did in the artwork.
I completely missed out on the Redemption Stories sale... Am I left out? -NO! Even if you were on Mars during the sale or totally forgot about it, you are receiving one Redemption Story Gold/Gold deck for free.
...
I am a new Patron. Am I eligible to get the Gold/Silver deck? -Unfortunately no. There are only 180 available in total, so first and second year's Patrons have priority to these.
...
If you haven't placed an order during the Redemption stories sale, you are getting one Gold/Gold deck. If you have placed an order for 1 deck, you are getting 1 Gold/Gold and 1 Gold/Silver. If you have placed an order for 2 decks, you are getting 2 Gold/Gold and 1 Gold/Silver. You can add a Gold/Silver deck ONLY if you haven't participated in the previous sale. Any double orders with a Gold/Silver deck will be cancelled and refunded. Patrons of the lowest tier (5eur/month) are not getting a gift deck and also are not allowed to get the Gold/Silver deck, as they are very limited. They can only get the Gold/Gold variant.

I'm just an outside observer as I'm not a patron for Oath, but after reading that, I'm not sure he could have made that sound more convoluted if he tried.

It makes sense to me but probably because he had two or three other updates along with that aforementioned update meant to clarify things further.
He was making a Royal Silk Red for Patreons. He wasn't satisfied with the version that he made so he gave it as a gift in a Redemption series tuck. He clarifies that Patreons will still get a Royal Silk Red that is even better than this version for free as part of their Year 1 patreon pledge. These patreons are also meant to receive a gold/silver Silk deck with two different foils. The print run he had was also placed in a Redemption tuck. He is reprinting these for a final revision but since they're more exclusive with a lower print run, he placed limitations on how the test print could be obtained. I am a recent collector and year 3 patreon. I was not able to get this deck unfortunately but understand why. I haven't had to endure two years of waiting.
Mine are expected to arrive tomorrow and I'm incredibly excited

So, if I have been a member since the beginning and I purchased 2 of the vol 1 decks, I should have gotten 3 decks? One of the black tuck decks and two of the white tuck decks? I believe that is correct.

I posted about this a while back and got some responses but I am still bothered by what I am being charged for Oath's patreon. I am at the Asylum level and am being charged $133.50 a month. When I look at the tiers in both Euros and USD, I get the following for the costs.
- Oath.jpg (63.08 KiB) Viewed 10332 times
This says I should be charged $108.50. If I change the currency to Euros it should be 105 per month. Why am I being charged $133.50? I messaged Lotrek and he never responsed which is disappointing. I emailed Patreon and they also never responded. Another UC member did contact Lotrek and he responded to him and said for him to contact Patreon.
BTW, I checked my other Patreon memberships with Stockholm17 and Thirdway and everything is correct. I am being charged monthly what it says I should be.
I know Lorenzo recently made a post about a conversion issue as he set his currency to USD and those paying in Euros were getting screwed. Is this issue the same but in reverse? For Oath is it set up for Euros so those paying in USD are possibly getting screwed? The default Asylum payment is 105 Euros a month. The conversion rate back in November during renewals was about 1.03 so that makes sense as 108.5 / 105 = 1.0333.
If I look way back when I first signed up for Oath Asylum the conversion rate was about 1.16. However, 133.5 / 105 = 1.27. So, that does not seem quite right.
Regardless, Patreon says I should be charged $108.50 but I am being charged $133.50 and Lotrek and Patreon are unresponsive.

In Europe you have to pay VAT on top of the patreon reward costs (guck the fovernment and
the EU, too). Maybe this applies for you, too?

I have a ticket open with Patreon for this very issue. I thought I remembered Lotrek sending an email a year or two ago explaining why there was a disparity in actual cost vs listed price, but I couldn’t remember what the explanation was. I thought I remembered that it was something to do with charges for exchanging currency. So, I decided to try switching my payment currency from dollars to euros, since my credit card I am using does not charge a fee for foreign transactions. I am in the Golden tier, so the cost should be €38, according to the price listed. I was paying $48.50 plus tax which ended up being $52.50 total. I switched to euros, and it was still around €50, so I switched it back to dollars. When I did so, it listed my cost as $54, and now with tax I am paying $58.07. I was pissed, and emailed Patreon right away ( this was last month). I asked them to explain why the cost changed, and why they have an opaque system that is charging me more than is listed in the first place. I got passed around to a few different CSRs, and am now waiting on a reply from a manager. It has been weeks though, and so far they can’t seem to tell what is going on with this issue.

Thank you for raising this issue. I just took a look and see the same thing happening on my end. I just did 'payment update' for my tier at the current price and it seems to have taken. I now see $38 instead of $48 for the tier cost at my next charge date. I guess I will see if that holds and hopefully doesn't look funky on Lotrek's end. Might be something you can try...

Thank you! That seemed to work! It now says my payment is $105. Let's see what I get charged on Feb 1.

Huh. I just tried that as well. Now it says $39.50 in one spot, and $54 in another. No idea what will happen now.

To be honest, if this extra money is being pocketed by Patreon, it seems like a class-action lawsuit waiting to happen.

I always had the Manic tier since year one. I was always paying $64-$71 so maybe I was overpaying or it increased.

Patreon is so messed up when it comes to payments.
I was a TWI yearly patron ($325). My membership was set to renew on 1/1/23. I cancelled on 12/24/22.
I checked my credit card statement and had a charge on 12/24/22 in the amount of $300.34. So, they somehow charged me for cancelling.
Patreon couldn’t explain why I was charged and wouldn’t help get the charge reversed. Poor Gio had to figure it out on his own. I got the money back but not until a month went bye.
Oh and I was paying $5.50 a month for oath instead of $4.50
Definitely a class action worthy company
