Re: Heretic cards by Lorenzo: Gran Riserva Saturday @ 1PM ED
Hi all!
just little update about the extra cards
]NOTICE: the double backers will be swapped
55th lux: 3rd joker: Omnia Fert Aetas, meaning "time bears all things away"
55th noctis: Tabula Selenographica, the phases of the moon.
56th lux&noctis: double backer (maybe we swap them? need advice!)
57th lux: Mea Praedictio = My prediction. If you apply some transparent standard tape, you can use this card for your prediction magic tricks (see image).
57th noctis: color change gaff card. Let´s say that it is dedicated to love-related color change tricks. Just the big heart of the ace will change color. Does it work? Nice idea?

I definitely think the double backer should be lux on one side/noctis on the other.

Re: Heretic cards by Lorenzo: Gran Riserva Saturday @ 1PM ED
Okay, I am super late to the Heretic game. I was a backer of the Requiem and love it. Now that I finally made some room in my bank for this project, I find that I have missed out on sooo much. I will be sitting at my computer and refreshing to get a Riservera, but, is there anything else I should be in on? I am sad that I missed the uncut deal (would love to have uncuts of this beautiful project) but, what is all of this about different types of Riservera? Also, what do I do with the special backer card I got in my Requiem package?

Re: Heretic cards by Lorenzo: Gran Riserva Saturday @ 1PM ED
Okay, the Gran Riserva breaks down like this: If you have pledged over $500 you get both Lux and Noctis GR, with gold wax seal, for free; If you have pledged over $300, but under $500 you get EITHER Lux GR, OR Noctis GR, with red wax seal, for free; If you have pledged for at least one brick, you get 10% off EITHER Lux GR, or Noctis GR; anything else, under that, you can chose the Gran Riserva reward level when Lorenzo opens it tomorrow at 1 PM east coast time, and then adjust your pledge to include extra decks, if need be. He hasn't released the final details yet, other than what is already shown on the campaign page, and, unless you have pledged at least $500, you can only get one OR the other, but not both.Gruul wrote:Okay, I am super late to the Heretic game. As for the VI-XII backer card from the Requiem campaign, he hasn't mentioned anything planned for this campaign associated with that.
That being said, Lorenzo is full of surprises, so we won't know everything until it's over. And maybe not even then...

Absolutely. But you gotta admit, both uncut sheets for $50 is still a pretty good deal, compared to most campaigns...

Re: Heretic cards by Lorenzo: Gran Riserva Saturday @ 1PM ED
When the Gran Riserva is released, there are bound to be people who will switch their pledge from the uncut to the Gran Riserva limited tier. That leaves a couple of slots open for the $30 limited uncut tier for other people to grab. Are other backers allowed to take the suddenly available slots, or will this tier be watched to continually mark it as sold out?

I do hope this all works out in the end, but IMO releasing limited editions like this and trying to keep everything tracked properly and try and remain as fair as possible only results in a SNAFU.

@Mike -- don't oversell the packing on the KS Comments page.
I'm not replying there 'cause I don't want to scare the backers.
If I recall correctly, from your pic from Requiem topic, you got your loot in a box, which was not typical packaging.
Both Kings Wild and Uusi do a better job packing stuff, with bubble wrap inside the shipping cardboard box.
I think that would be a prudent course for Brick XI.

The only way to get 2 GRs is to pledge $500 or more. $300 or more gets a free deck but cant pledge for another.Widdee wrote:Does this jean there will be a option to purchase more GRs?bamabenz wrote:

Re: Heretic cards by Lorenzo: Gran Riserva Saturday @ 1PM ED
Don't know about you, but I got two bricks from the Requiem campaign, and they were both seriously bound in bubble wrap. It was like peeling an onion. Also, the box was full of packing peanuts as well. Traveling through the military postal system (USPS handles it until it leaves the states-Chicago, Dallas, Philly) then it gets stuffed in a container, on a plane, unloaded and thrown in a truck, then sorted. As such, most boxes that arrive here have some degree of damage. MM used flat rate boxes, which is fine if there is enough packing, and while there was a bit of crushing to the outer box, between the peanuts and the multiple layers of bubble wrap, there was nary a dent in my bricks.bamabenz wrote:@Mike -- don't oversell the packing on the KS Comments page.

Re: Heretic cards by Lorenzo: Gran Riserva Saturday @ 1PM ED
Good for you.
I got one brick, not two like you did.
It came in an envelope, with bubble wrap.
The brick box was worse for wear, but the tucks were fine.
I hope all the Brick XI are shipped in a shipping box, with bubble wrap and peanuts.

Re: Heretic cards by Lorenzo: Gran Riserva Saturday @ 1PM ED
I had a bit of an issue with packaging two.
My uncut sheet was packaged in a square box with my signed deck in the center.
The deck was wrapped really well in bubble wrap so it survived the journey unscathed.
The uncut not so much. A long rectangular box has very little to no support perpendicular and collapsed easily pushing the sheet against the deck and creating some large creases and damage to the images.
On a pleasant note I contacted Lorenzo about the damage and he said he would replace the uncut sheet once all the shipping was done and he knew the numbers of replacements he needed to send.
I haven't heard anything back in a couple of weeks.... But I am hoping he will follow through on this promise.
Hopefully he uses cylinders for the heretic deck and my replacement uncut sheet.

I got six decks, all of them arrived in Singapore with dented tucks. Since I won't be reselling them I don't mind as much, but it definitely wasn't packaged as well as Kings Wild or Uusi's.

Re: Heretic cards by Lorenzo: Gran Riserva Saturday @ 1PM ED
hI all!
today Gran Riserva
I printed out the list of the actual sold-out promotion for the uncut sheets. So that´s written on stone (well, on paper).
Those in the "antimony class" (see update #10) and with the promo-uncut, can go to gran riserva reward and keep the promotion.
I will open the reward for 25 people.
Price as Requiem: $55 shipping included from Sweden
Those with bricks can increase the pledge, but I´m online and I will count. I will be flexible, but at one point it goes sold out.
do not crash the amazon server ahah
About the BRICK XI
It will arrive to the distributor as sealed item, so there is no way that they put it in a flat bubbled envelope. I´ll be asking a special treatment for that.
see you later for the big badaboom

Hi!
sending signed unctus from Stockholm has been a huge pain in the lalalalalalaaass
I´m not going to do it again, the gran riserva was doable instead. Small envelopes, standard size.
I already warned the distributor that I need solid tubes to send the heretic uncuts, since it´s a big part of the campaign.
Same thing for the Bricks XI
All will be sent from the USA.
About Requiem's uncut sheets. I think that 6 or 7 had visible damages and I had to resend them again.
Well it was the first ks campaign
Learning a lot

WOOHOO! One of the first 5! So do we get a choice on whether we get the Lux or Noctis version, or is it just luck of the draw?
