This guy is a regular seller on Ebay but I would have to agree the price is a bit steep on this one.

His crack must be real good to think all those decks are worth 8k.

Damn, I think I need to find a new supplier. TwoPiece[...], you still selling these days or are you keeping it all for yourself??

Huh, and that's by Playingcards.net, Gambler's online store. When did they start smoking something that serious?

This same garbage is currently available for "only" $38 on kickstarter, right now. It's a hilarious ripoff at that price, but apparently mediocre decks with excessive packaging material are such a hot commodity that you can get a 300% ROI right off the bat. What a wonderful world.

Geez, are the HotRS card guards really worth $60+? It's ridiculous how much they're charging for the 2 decks + card guard, since the decks are still on sale. Lorenzo's sitting on a gold mine there with the card guards!

Interestingly, each item also available separately and are about $20 cheaper in total than the whole set!

I was just trolling ebay and noticed a tough to find Heretic Brick IX set. Great...but $575! Wow. You can make an offer, but I am choking on the price.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Heretic-Lux-No ... Swx5JcrFbm

I choked even harder on this pair of Stockholm decks.

Yeah, but the S17 decks are signed by Lorenzo himself! Don't you know how much his signature is worth after HotRS won so mnay awards? With the card guards and his signature being worth so much, Lorenzo won't even need Patreon anymore!

With the Heretic brick, it's about $45 per deck if you offer $550, About how much Heretic is going for on Ebay anyways on the high side.

Keep in mind this "Brick" is actually only 10 decks (5 of each type), but in a neat container and also with a cool crystal piece on top with some Heretic design etched on it. It is super cool, but only 10 decks are actually included, not 12. Again, I think that was part of the Heresy he was going for

Actually, he's got a few crack-y items, but this seemed the crackiest. Can't say he's lost his marbles, although some are for sale.

I am not a real collector of early decks. To me, that seller has to be totally doped on crack to try to get that much for it. Then again, he only needs one buyer...

Not really on crack imo. 2,900/500 makes it $5.80 per deck. Which is okay/reasonable.

That math assumes potential bidders would either a) want all 500+ decks or b) believe they could offload any unwanted decks at cost. With a collection this large and this eclectic, it doesn't seem likely to me that any potential purchasers would be interested in more than a fraction of them - maybe a fifth? Possibly less, considering the described condition of the decks?

Reading the description, it sounds like the impetus behind the listing is desperation, which is probably why the seller didn't do the sensible (but more labor-intensive) thing and parcel the collection into smaller lots of related items. I feel for the guy, but I just don't see this lot selling at this price.
