I'll see if the package that's arriving today is Groundskeeper. I had only backed the green deck for this campaign.

I backed for 12 decks. Hopefully, they get here soon. My order also says some weird message about awaiting furniture, which I did not order.

I think something along the lines of if you order 12 or more decks, they'll send you a comfy couch to sit on as you enjoy your decks. Don't quote me on that though.

Just got my shipping email. It also mentioned needing a loading dock to unload a comfy couch also!

After shipping and taxes, What did one deck cost you? 40-50$?

Total for me for one deck (also the green one) was $38.50. $30 for the deck, $5 for shipping, and $3.54 for tax. Its a beautiful gilded deck though, so I feel it's worth it.

Similar to Adam, with shipping & tax, mine was $37.85 total.

I reached out to Wyrmwood customer service, and they sent me a USPS tracking number. However, there has been NO movement on my package since May 30.
Someone on the Kickstarter page asked if they could buy more of these decks after Kickstarter fulfillment, and they answered no....very limited run!
So I'm screwed if my deck is lost in transit?!

No they would almost certainly have held some back for that kind of contingency.
And I cant imagine there are none of the base decks to be sold, prism yes is probably not gonna be posted.
Worst case (likely the paid kind) Omar has some decks to sell.

Mine arrived today in Oz. I got one of the Luxury Edition.
Still forming a view of the cards themselves (giving it a couple of days) but gotta say, the Studio Pression tuckbox and sleeve are superb. So much fine print detail and intricate foil inside and out. Plus it just feels really solid.
Not sure what other tuckboxes they’ve done (Successor if I recall?) but they hit it out of the park on this one.

Received mine in good condition.
Though the bubble mailer is too risky with a lot of moving parts inside. They didn't managed to change the color of the small blind coin but not a big deal tbh.
Edit: also realized that the free black coin was officially announced to be in matte black color, but came as glossy black instead (from their original samples). Now it becomes a big deal as this had been a bad handling/communication between their supplier. Just annoying that their vision (what they thought was best) had not been realized.
Haven't open the deck yet, it's too much humidity here atm!

If I remember correctly, the matte is what Omar wanted, but Wyrmwood chose the glossy instead since they liked it better.

Except that they announced matte black finish on update #24
The bonus card guard will be produced in a matte black finish, fusing the two elements we liked from the samples shown previously. This was our ideal finish for the item, so we're very happy that was able to happen.

While I definitely disappointed that my Trio set is priced twice from what is stated in the campaign, i am still going through it.
It arrived unannounced (as in: i receive no tracking code whatsoever)
Painful…. sending decks in Bubble Mailer enveloped without any paddings is just TOO risky. Through inspection, Red deck suffered just a little bit ding. Makes my life easy to open that first
May I present you the trio set of Groundskeeper
That Dealer coin is what make me stay, and…. Wow…. Definitely cool! Hopefully i dont missed out any freebies in Corrupted when i dropped that one on last minute

The USPS tracking status updated, and out for delivery today! Strangely until now, it had no movement since May 30th.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the green luxury version does not appear to be smooth finish as you say?

Mine arrived today in a bubble mailer as well, surprisingly undamaged.
I'm happy with my decision to have stuck with just one deck, the green one. The cards do feel hard to describe as they do have a linen finish to them but almost feel like smooth cards.
Overall, a decently playable deck. One that I'd imagine Wyrmwood fans are quite happy about. The coin gift and pouch were a nice touch.

Which obviously are the intended market of these. We card collectors/enthusiasts would've been in it for the Cartamundi quality.
I thought they were going to use WJPC stocks (or atleast the best stock) that were used on the Gambling Frogs? Such missed opportunities...
I hope Omar used better stocks on his projects.

Agreed. While I don't get the "wow factor" as much with such decks anymore (hence my fascination with some of the older niche stuff), I believe it succeeded in what it intended to do: Create cards for a community of tabletop gamers as well as the card collectors who wanted to join in on the ride, whether out of support for Omar, the artwork, the craftsmanship, or a combination of the aforementioned.
I would like to get some more insight into WJPC's catalog. I'll see what I can do.

American backers definitely got the cleaner end of the stick on this one. It would have been 50 usd for me to just get 1 green deck. I see many complaints emerging online about the quality of the cards and their choice to ship in bubble mailers. 30$ for that deck was already way overpriced and with all the extra baggage I'm glad I opted out.

That is not even considering the Prismatic deck at $85 which seems incredibly overpriced.

$30 is a pretty reasonable price for a gilded deck. And they're really nice. They handle well, feel pretty nice in hand. The print quality is excellent, and the foiling is fantastic.

It is? We have different opinions then, which is cool by me
$30 for a good quality gilded foiled deck? Yeah that’s not bad. I’d say 75% of the foiled/metallic decks I’ve backed have been more than that.
But this is also why I don’t want to have to buy base decks to get them. I don’t want to spend another $15-$20 for the same deck without the gilding/foiling.

Mine were indeed sent with no tracking number and were waiting on me when I got home.
The Green deck is fantastic, WJPC did a really good job, it is NOT a completely smooth finish (the base decks do have a very smooth finish) I have a loose golden frogs card in my "misc" case and I would say its a less aggressive version of that texture.
Id love to post feedback/pictures of the prismatic deck but they didn't ship that, they shipped a base blue deck instead. Im sure they will make it right one way or the other, but Im hoping to get my very expensive deck.
