I don't know about that. They are like printed on cardboard. I'll be interested in your thoughts.

Yep the quality is pretty awful on them but they look great and that is the most important thing to me at least.Bradius wrote:I don't know about that. They are like printed on cardboard. I'll be interested in your thoughts.

And the rest... (there were two jokers in the deck but they were the same). Note: These cards are literally printed on cardboard. They feel like bad, scratchy, cheap business cards. They would not be good for actual play. The art, however, is great.robcan0630 wrote:robcan0630 wrote:I picked up one of the Four Corners decks. $6.20 shipped seems pretty good. Thanks.

Cards arrived today. These feel better than the Four Corners deck, but they are still pretty rough. The edges are a little stringy, like the cut wasn't cleaned up after maybe? Regardless, I didn't get these for handling or playing, just for the art. I'm only posting pictures of the spade cards as the art is repeating on all cards (i.e. all aces have the same art, all 2's have the same art, etc.) I wish the art was unique across all cards, but as it was taken from a collection of etchings, I understand there are only so many pieces of art available for reference (see link above, 25 etchings total). The tuck is not really a box, it's a piece of heavy construction paper folded to a book shape and closed with leather cord. Pictures are below. Deck has been submitted for addition to Portfoio52.robcan0630 wrote:In doing some more research on this Italian deck, I found this... http://www.garyschwartzarthistorian.nl/ ... the-barony" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Seller accepted $24 for the pair, free shipping. Seems good to me. Thanks for sharing.

Now that I look at them more closely, that tuck box does look a bit strange... Good observation.Petkoski wrote:Probably fake! (80/90%)Räpylätassu wrote:This seller has set of 8 Ohio Bee decks for just 10,99 USD SO 1,37 USD per deck. The seller also has them on 4, 3, 2 deck set and as single decks.

Somebody sells a UC2014 sealed Grotesk deck for $19.00 sounds like a good deal to me.
