@Lotrek - Maybe the "Joker" needs to be in the indices. So you can read it as "Joker" in their hand. Just saying...

Edit: And usually "Joker" is read from top to bottom. I find it fascinating people still screw up on the Joker, but do want you want.

Nailed the jokers lotrek.

It's great you like the Jokers! I wanted to pay a tribute to the "Venetian Joker" mask and since this deck has a lot of masks, it seemed ideal.

Today I'll reveal the Signature decks which will be probably released this Saturday at 5:00 am EDT. Or maybe Friday, same time. I'd like opinions on the day. As with Grotesque, I'll release 2/3 now and the last 1/3 three days before the end of the campaign at a different time, in order to accommodate backers from Asia and Australia.

Those Jokers, WOW! I don't know how you do it Lotrek but with each new image I see, I fall in love with these decks all over again. Absolutely amazing.

Looking forward to it Lotrek. I missed out on Grotesque Signature decks so hopefully this time I'll be able to secure one

Tough one. Most people are still "in traffic" if not still at work at that time on Friday. Maybe Saturday works best? That way everybody (well, most everybody) isn't working and has an equal shot at getting into those very limited decks! I'm knowing we're not going to try the $5000 tier again, right? (for those that missed it, last year we had a 'pseudo-tier' used as a 'flag' to denote they were (still) available, and 3 people actually pledged $5000!)

I don't understand the hand drawn joker part. You'll draw 120 jokers on a separate card and put it with the deck?

Also, price? Same as Grotesque SE?

As for the name, I know that some (maybe many) will get 2 decks in order to sell one or both. I really don't know if writing a name makes sense.

Oh hell yeah! I'll be going for them undoubtedly. Love the homage you played to the mask for the jokers, will you be drawing the same joker as the one pictured already, or will she be different (well, other than the differences that come along with hand drawn duplicates.)

mandatory names would be highly controversial considering a lot would want to resell them...for some reason. That was a half serious suggestion though.

So....60 gold and 60 platinum or 120 of each?
Also would the jokers match the deck? (masked/unmasked)? Assuming you're doing gold for masked and platinum for unmasked for example. Or have you picked a specific deck to carry both colors?

I'll make the Jokers I already showed (in black/white of course). Platinum will have the Masked edition while Gold will have the Revealed. For the Masked Signature I'll draw the Joker with closed eyes. For the revealed I'll draw the Joker with eyes open.

I like it, think it's a great idea. Comics are frequently printed with a variant blank cover so one can get them remarked by their favorite artists at conventions. Just imagine that, a deck of cards with blank backs so you can take them to conventions, art shows, meet ups or whatever so you can get an artist to sketch something up for you.

I must admit I'm glad some people decided to resell the grotesque Signature Edition decks. I couldn't afford the signature decks during the campaign, and seeing them for sale on eBay gave me another chance to acquire them. Even though the price was marked up, I actually got my set for a good deal compared to the person who bought the next set available for $300.

I won't miss this round of Signature decks, though.
