Not for sure, but the limited editions for the subscription service are always EPCC/Taiwan, if my mind doesn't trick me. I believe he showed them and mentioned EPCC in one of his instagram lives.

Jackson uses a number of printers for the subscription service. Originally he used Shuffled Ink because of the small print runs. Since January he has expanded to include USPCC and EPCC. He has also started printing with Cartamundi with the Invocations (not subscription), but with the idea that he might use them as well. I think the challenge he is having with Cartamundi is getting the decks done timely. It isn't just an issue of print size but meeting timelines so the decks are ready to be shipped out at the beginning of the month. Even with fast deck completions by the manufacturers and quick delivery of the decks from the printers, he still has to get the tucks made, assembled, tucks in the custom tucks, and then fulfilled to all of the subscribers with their correct orders. Oh and for those with gilded decks, he needs to get the completed decks of to the gilder and back as well. What this also means is that he is finishing the design months before they are actually shipped. Again, for him what he needs from printers now is a reliable timeline for when he can expect the completed decks on his doorstep.

Does anyone have scans or pictures of the new Valley Forge deck? I can't find anything on Google or the KWP site so I am curious what it looks like beyond the fantastic tuck. Are the faces KWP standard or is it a fully-custom deck? Thanks for any info!

I don't have scans. They are not KWP standard courts. They are drawings of both American and British leaders involved in the conflict. Spades and Clubs are Americans and Hearts and Diamonds with British leaders. For example, the KOS is George Washington, QOS is Martha Washington and Jack of Spades is Thomas Jefferson. They are fine line drawings very similar to currency. I hope that helps.

So... subscribers have these certificates and we get a sticker every month that can go onto the certificate. And, I seem to recall it being said that at the end of the year, when all the stickers are on the certificate, that can somehow be converted into something else... like, an extra deck or something?
Will we have to turn in the certificate? Or, just send a picture? How will that work? Anyone know?

I think a picture of the completed certificate will be enough. I know I saw this specified somewhere, but I don't remember exactly if it was in an email or on the back of the actual certificate.

I do not think we would need to mail the certificates. JR’s email said a photo will do.

Thanks, hsbc. I've been waiting to open mine until I'd seen some more pictures of the cards. Sometimes with these US history-themed decks the jingoism gets laid on a little thick for me, and there's no sense opening the thing if I don't like it.
HMFJ is correct that the back of the certificate itself stipulates the terms for redeeming it for the 13th deck. Like so:
This Kings Wild Shorts Collector's Certificate signifies one subscription slot. If the bearer can fill it with the 12 unique monthly Kings Wild Shorts Collector's Seals, the bearer may then send pictures via email to jackson at kingswildproject dot com, as proof of completing the certificate. If the bearer completes the certificate and sends proof of completion in the form of pictures, the bearer will then be shipped a completely unique and exclusive "13th" deck, that can only be acquired by completing the Kings Wild Shorts Collector's Certificate. Each completed certificate is good for only one 13th deck. Each certificate is individually numbered and is numerically matched with the on record edition numbers of each subscriber. This matching ensures no duplicate certificate entries are made. If a bearer is the owner of multiple subscription slots, they will be sent a separate Kings Wild Shorts Collector's Certificate for every subscription slot they are currently the owner of. Every subscription slot is good for one 13th deck if the collector's certificate is completed.
If you have any questions about the Kings Wild Shorts Collector's Certificate please fill [sic] free to email me directly at jackson at kingswildproject dot com.

pin-pen merger at the end is the mark of authenticity

Fill/feel is actually a mitt–meet merger, not pin-pen

I saw the Instagram live video and thought to myself: "I need one of those sets in my life," and promptly forgot about it.
Idiot.

I have been watching since the video, but busy at work. I can’t believe it has been nearly an hour since they were released. Gone now! Oh well. Glad I am no longer anal about trying to have all of Jackson’s work. Congrats though to those fast enough to snag a set.

Bradius, I am actually surprised they lasted as long as they did. I think they were available for at least 30 minutes...but go they did. Sorry you missed it. I have been cutting back a lot lately, but that looked really nice and piqued my interest.

It would have been nice, but I actually spent a large fortune on a brick of Lotrek’s craft edition of the Fable deck, so my wallet is screaming at me.

Suddenly buying the Valley Forge gilded set sounds reasonable...

Yeah. The decks were roughly the same price per deck, so imagine purchasing four red, white and blue Valley Forge sets!

Jackson just posted on Instagram Live that the Equinox ! reprint decks will go on sale to Subscribers at Midnight Friday/Saturday this week. There will be 500 Standard decks and 400 gilded version that will be on sale. Not sure of the price, but he thought it was $25 for the standard version and $35 for the gilded.

35$ for the gilded indeed, and 18$ for the standard
