Can you put this on your YouTube channel (could do an unlisted video)? I can't view on Facebook since the group is private

Yeah. It’s a journey indeed. Go back and read the rather lukewarm reception the thread had at inception. Lol. Tough crowd. That’s the risk of sharing too much of the journey! I hope some of those early nonbelievers will come around to see how the deck is shaping up.

The sound of that press breathing …
I used to work in a printing factory; I don't miss the people (apart from my last girlfriend whom I met there), but I do miss that noise.

Sharing some alternate tuck combinations because the general public doesn't get to see these often. Very important note: I will signing some of these uncut tuck sheets and giving them away as prizes and offering some as rewards during the campaign.

The latest Successor Sarcophagus prototype just arrived. It's near perfect. Needs only a couple of minor adjustments for the final production run.

I won't be satisfied until I hear you say, "Dynastinaynay" on your YouTube channel.

Funnily enough I recently discovered that I'd been saying Dynastinae wrong all this time. It's pronounced DynastiKNEE. The ae has a long 'E' sound when referencing latin taxonomy names.

Actually there's two systems of Latin pronunciation.
From wiki:
In Classical Latin, the combination AE denotes the diphthong [ae̯], which had a value similar to the long i in "fine" as pronounced in most dialects of Modern English.

Yes, although as far as I understand it when referring to a genus of Animalia it's the long E traditionally used.

Cold foil is really hard to photograph. But in the right light it looks electric.

If only STANDARDS could have gone for this as well. The SUCCESSOR definitely outlived AoP's STANDARDS

So usually when I post pics it produces some feedback and critiques. Lol. I hope the relative silence in this thread is more one of satisfaction than of indifference. Hahaha.

I'm quietly appreciating what you've achieved so far.
Being completely honest, I'm not convinced these are for me. I've seen the comparisons to Standards and, quite frankly, I
hated them. I don't hate these though, and can still see myself backing them, but I'll see once the campaign has launched as I really want them to succeed.

I'm loving these myself. The only thing I would change is that I wish the numbers matched the suit colors to help with playability. Otherwise these look fantastic. Not sure how anyone can hate a design (did the design kill your parents or something?) but I do understand indifference/taste/opinion etc.

I appreciate the sentiment! I want them to succeed too. This project has been a true labor of love for me. I’m heavily invested between design costs, prototyping and molds/fabrication. It’s a very scary time to be a small business owner. I don’t mind feedback and critique. I welcome them because it can help me improve. And to understand the desire of the people who buy these things. Comments like anzh’s not withstanding. Those make me feel like someone is calling me stupid. —hey maybe I am for being so ambitious with this.

There’s still time to change the indexes for the final production run. So I will discuss with Kevin. You may be right. I thought it too. The cold foil is brilliant when it catches the light but it can also be a black hole in the dark
