There will be occasional sales and auctions but not that frequent from now on. Also, there is now an official calendar with all upcoming KWP events.

I can still see some of them from my invoices. If you have one that you are interested in, PM me and I will see if I can send you a link to it. I think that is likely the only way now you can access it. Not sure how long even that will last. Some of my earlier invoice links don't work anymore. But like I can still see the TIgers hats and Federal 52 poster moving sales from my invoice.

Thanks, Brad, but one can still find the sale items by searching for the keywords "moving sale". It'll list all the moving sales items, including the sold out ones, so it can torment you on the great deals you missed like the signed Scarlett Tally Ho and the Black Reserve notes..... :?

I was wondering if I should wait to see what other sales come up before I get the Wasteland set to save on shipping. Still had 37 when I checked so wasn't worried about it selling out anytime soon.

 I understand. I missed a few I wanted as well. I try to look at all the good stuff I DID get. I imagine some will make there way here or on Ebay for not too bad prices. I did manage to get the signed Scarlett deck 8-) , but only one set. This was a great boon with lots of good stuff at great prices.

Just a quick note that this Friday at noon Central Time KWP will sell 10 Ltd prints of the upcoming Americana Ace of Spades. I think he plans to sell a few Ltd prints rack week as an experiment to see how it goes.

Once again the magic is spoiled... Moving Sale #12 - Signed Unbranded Black Reserve Note Overrun arrived in Belgium and it means paying 35 euros: some of it in taxes, but most of it is "flat administrative fees"... When those sales are not consolidated when shipped, it really hurts the wallet.
Still worth it (in this case) but so frustrating...

So I got a couple of moving sale items over the last month but #17 stalled out on me. I got the non-gilded Tigers but the tracking has been in the "Awaiting Item" shipping status since 5/28. I have received another moving sale item since then but crickets on the Tigers.

What is the best way to reach out to a very busy Jackson? I sent an email to his KW email about 24 hours ago, so I'm not sure what to expect in terms of a response. I also do not want to troll his live stream to ask about a shipment, lol :) Any tips, homies? Gracias

I had an order go missing about a month ago (well the tracking never showed any movement at all), and unfortunately it took around three emails to Nick to get a reply, and after (too much imo) back-and-forth they finally shipped a replacement package out to me... yesterday - I was also told there are no more Moriarty decks so I guess I'm just getting an extra Baskervilles instead? :( :( Oh well

Go to his house, open a bottle of Belgian beer and let the scent waft through his letterbox. Guaranteed success. :ugdance:

I kind of get why Nick has to take so long to reply because he has to confirm whether it's a case of a scam or real, so I'm pretty sure he has to ask around about the people from other creators or something. It took me a while to get responses too around 3 weeks. Im not complaining because I'm sure it's hard to tell. Having no more Moriarty decks is just bad luck though :(. I feel for you man. I can't even imagine how I'd feel if they ran out of the tiger decks for me

Thanks for the advice, folks. I will reach out to Nick forthwith. I'm not too worried about it and it likely just fell through the cracks during May's Moving Madness (tm)

I got my #17 moving sale hanging as well. But it's explicitly "Unfulfilled" on the website and no tracking number ever added. I guess I'll wait a bit longer. They had to ship huge amounts of stuff lately so maybe they'll come to it eventually.

Edit: Oh, but I have those Tigers already at home, so I guess that's just a mistake. :D

We are def still trying to sort out the May madness. Nick and are trying to get everything sent out, and if we screwed up on something we are trying to make it right.

Keep on us and keep emailing us.

Jackson

Keep in mind sometimes it isn't KWP, but the postal service. Either way, it seems like in lands on Nick to sort it out as best he can. Unfortunately, especially with the Moving Sale, it was surplus inventory they were selling, so not many (if any) extras around if an order goes missing. Just try to keep that in mind. Jackson and Nick really do try to fix things as best as possible. If shipping wasn't already a huge enough cost.

Wouldn't it just be easier if customers would just come over and pick up their dang stuff themselves? Just keep in mind, I am still willing to come over with a pick-up and take your surplus decks off your hands. No shipping required. No problem, really.

I haven't seen it posted elswhere, but Jackson has announced that he is working on a Lord of the Rings series(es), which I think may involve more than just cards. It will also include Hobbit as well. He said he will not be using the movie as inspiration, but the original books to give his own artistic interpretation.

When Jackson was showing off his new premises on Instagram he pointed to a rack of containers and mentioned that they were for "quarterly deliveries for overseas customers." Has anything else been said about this and is this something we have to specifically request?

I think that it is his delayed delivery service where he consolidates your packages over two or three months and sends you a larger package. You can drop him an email and ask for this - I am sure he would be able to accommodate.

I guessed that was it, I just didn't if anything official had been announced. Thanks.

I think I heard on an Instagram live that the program will start this summer, in July or August. And it will be a quarterly delivery, every three months.

How about a pick up option where I come by and just pick up my stuff to completely avoid shipping fees?

In Jackson’s last Instagram live he mentioned an artist that had a similar style that he was going for in his LOTR art. Did anyone get the name of that artist?

Is it Gustav Klimmt?

Thanks. That is an interesting choice of design inspiration.

Image

One of my cousins was an artist, Arvis Stewart, whose style would look good with LOTR lore.

Just to make things very clear (as this image could be very misleading) Klimmt is an artist that I have been inspired by for the LOTR deck but only his use of gold foiling. His artstyle and his figurative illustration is very far off from the way I plan to take LOTR so me saying I'm inspired by Klimt and then having the first image on google posted might be taken out of context. I honestly don't like a bunch of Klimt's work. I just really like his use of gold foils.

Here is my Pinterest link to my LOTR inspiration board. This will give you a better feel of the direction I probably will go... but in my own style.
