Re: The Successor by TGW/Kevin Cantrell
Wow, those red/blue tucks look great. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Lotrek originally going to print the tucks?
Also, for the Tempest decks, I (and a few others) noted the front of the tucks had a missing crease near the top that made it impossible to open the top flaps all the way without making ugly crease marks on the front of the tuck. Since Lotrek won't be printing these tucks (not sure who is for Successor), is it safe to assume the crease will be included on these boxes? Not a big deal, just thought I'd ask.

Re: The Successor by TGW/Kevin Cantrell
The real reason those don't show up is because I don't really like them too much. I've gotten used to not pulling the tuck flaps back and i makes the artwork look better.crazy_lazy wrote: ↑Tue Apr 19, 2022 4:11 pm Wow, those red/blue tucks look great. Man, that is simply beautiful and those are just for the basic decks. It would a Limited variant for most others. Hard to believe this is still just your 3rd deck. Are you actively trying to see just how you can top your earlier decks with each new deck?

Re: The Successor by TGW/Kevin Cantrell
Hey Eric. In a way yes. Although not expressly. The truth is I want to give folks no recourse to avoid buying my decks. lol. I don’t want “not backing” to be an option. So I figure if i give 110% on each project I maximize my chances. That ends up leading to each project being bigger better and badder than the last.

About that. There was already no question in my mind about backing, only how deep. I may have to dig into my pockets a bit more.TheGentlemanWake wrote: ↑Wed Apr 20, 2022 3:06 amThe truth is I want to give folks no recourse to avoid buying my decks. lol. I don’t want “not backing” to be an option.

You will be turned to the dark side! Bwhahaha. No seriously. That’s great to hear. Thank you. And I think your interest will only go up once you see how beautiful the final product is. The tucks with embossing. The Cartamundi cold foil b9 finish cards. The whole family of decks.steampunk52 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 20, 2022 11:09 amAbout that. Well, Jackson's LOTR is certainly showing my fears of a slowed down KS community to be unfounded. Now its a LOTR product so I wonder how much of this traffic is LOTR fans and how much is the Cards Community showing up?

Well, hard to say for sure, but judging from the comments they seem like card collectors.

Re: The Successor by TGW/Kevin Cantrell
tough competition out there
doubt u see the same results consider how much some decks r costing these poor pups
maybe u should try the wooden-box idea for 200$

Re: The Successor by TGW/Kevin Cantrell
These tuck renderings are looking great. I scrolled through this whole thread to check out the visuals. I'm looking forward to Successor next month. It's only 3 current KS projects I'm waiting on, I'm selective on my pledging.

Re: The Successor by TGW/Kevin Cantrell
Not sure I understand your post.
Selling the box at $200 alone would be selling it more expensive than it would be as part of the top tier. Not too mention I can guarantee that the sarcophagus is more expensive to produce than the legacy box is.

Those most recent tuck images are the real thing. You can see some videos of them over on Facebook. Unfortunately UC doesn’t left me post videos directly.Bikefanatic wrote: ↑Thu Apr 21, 2022 9:12 am These tuck renderings are looking great.
