James, the Platinum decks can get a bit pricey. I have some, but if I sell, it will likely be as a complete set. You can check the buy/sell forum to see if anyone is already selling one. I don’t see any currently for sale on eBay. You can also post a message on the Buy/sell forum your interest in this deck.

My apologies for dragging this topic up from the depths. But i was wondering if anybody might have any information as to why some of the players editions are unnumbered on the bottom of the tuck?

You need to go back some pages and you'll find the more accurate answer by Lotrek.
So, all the KS sold decks are numbered. Lotrek also printed some extras, and those are not numbered.
Unfortunately due to a miscommunication between Lotrek and GW some (all) KS backers still received unnumbered decks.

I am not going back and reading the thread, but I do remember some of the circumstances vividly. The Ambassador decks went out directly from Tiawan to the backers and we received numbered decks (at least mine are all numbered). However, before the extras could be sent for resale, they were destroyed in a massive fire at the warehouse in Tiawan that handled basically all of EPCC's fulfillment at the time. Even Lotrek didn't get any of the standard Ambassador decks printed by EPCC. To add insult to it all, Lotrek did have a shipment of decks that were sent to him from the EPCC fulfillment center that he was going to use for the Signature decks, but those were either destroyed or returned by Greek customs. So, Lotrek only had a pair the original players edition of the Ambassador decks as finally printed by EPCC. I know Lotrek made a reprint of the Ambassador decks for the Signature decks, which he did in Greece with his local printer. If Lotrek did a later reissue of the Ambassador standard decks, I don't know about that. I do know the originally issued Ambassador decks from EPCC that were numbered are a whole lot more rare than those that were printed due to so many of them being destroyed in the fire.

Below is a photo of the fire Lotrek posted here back at the time...

Below is a photo of a couple of my players edition from Kickstarter. They were numbered.

Oh, as I was preparing my earlier post, I went back to check a few things on the Ambassadors Kickstarter page. So, one thing quickly struck me. Care to guess how much was raised in the campaign? Anyone?

If you guessed, you are probably wrong as the official amount was a paltry $21,024.

That seems such a miniscule amount by what goes on Kickstarter these days. However, to be fair, Lotrek sold around $30,000 to $35,000 in collector decks before the campaign (that is just my sort of wild guess). There were also 180 Signature Decks that were sold directly by Lotrek at $55 (Yeah, you read that right, they sold for $55 and even so, he only sold 180 of them). So, that is another $10,000. All in, Ambassadors only grossed about $65k. Keep in mind Kickstarter fees, printing costs and shipping take a ton out. Not sure what was left.

I got an EB brick, so those decks were only $10 each, including shipping, which was a nice deal back then and now looks crazy that I didn't get several bricks. This was my second or third Kickstarter with Lotrek, but the first one after I really got into collecting playing cards. I didn't want to get caught flat-footed with Lotrek decks anymore. That was only like three and a half years ago.

After bringing this old thread back from the crypts of UC i wonder what happend to the Ambassors Signature Edition.

Please correct me if i'm wrong !

The Signature was part of campaign and was supposed to be a red deck in a special tuck case. I added only 1 during the campaign as it was actually a tuck swap.
But then the crazy story's with customs & warehouse fire happend. So Lotrek decided to make the Signature deck very special and went ahead with printing them himself in greece as a complete red colored deck. That was the point where i regretted it so badly that i ordered only 1 Signature Deck.
But later on (July 2019; read the last 4 updates from the campaign) there was an announcement that there will be 50 more signature decks available exclusively to backers, which never happend ???! At least i noticed nothing of the sale of this 50 decks, no comments here or anything at kickstarter updates. I was really interested to get another Signature deck and was paying high attention that time. Did i really miss this ??

OR is there some hidden treasure in Lotrek's cellar ?? maybe next to the Oath Royal :P
