Between:
  1. It having standard courts,
  2. My disappointment over it not being more like 2013's (Year of the) Serpent deck and
  3. The mostly-negative reaction it got here on UC (mainly having to do with the deck's one-way back, IIRC) I have taken a pass on it, thinking that I would pick one up if they ever stock them at our local Walmart.
Yea, It was a one way back. That was a major turn off...

@louCipherr - Interesting deck, but the AoS is upside down. :D Look forward to more.

Being neither a cardist nor a magician nor a cardsharp, a deck's having a one-way back, whether subtle or not, has little (if any) impact on my opinion of the deck.

I haven't seen this particular deck posted (at least not in this thread), so I figured I'd throw my hat into the ring with it.. Just picked it up a few days ago. They are plastic coated (wasn't expecting that), but still, the unique court cards made this one worth it..
That was actually one of the first decks I bought when I started collecting playing cards. If anyone is interested, you can get them on Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Haunted-Casinos-G ... B004Y0PEHG" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) or from Full Moon (http://www.fullmoondirect.com/Haunted-C ... p_500.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;). It's a cool looking deck though handling isn't good for tricks if that's your thing.

Not a recent addition to my collection, but a friend of mine just shared this image on my timeline:

Do any of you know what deck it is from?

Bad photo from me again. Just received today.

Boxed set walked off at some point between unpacking and finding phone. I'll have to track it down. Probably in the craft room.

I posted all the courts a long time ago. Not a high quality deck, but very cool artwork used.

Lately I've just been adding to PCDB instead of posting as much here, but thought I would share this one. As mentioned before, I picked up the Joker violated deck from Dark Knight that comes as a poker set. I decided to pick up another copy to play with, combining the poker chips while still keeping one deck on permanent display. I then picked up a nice wood/glass storage case to keep the play set and chips in. The case I got was new and came with a pair of decks and thick plastic chips so I kept the white ones since the box holds 100 and each Dark Knight set only came with 20 total chips for a total of 40. Although I have a nice larger poker set already I think this one may get used just as often for the fun factor.

For those curious this Bicycle branded poker case and related set is from 2002 based on cards it contained (Dark Knight set is 2008). It amazes me people/companies still have new inventory that is 12 years later.

Nice Nate! Much improved over the flimsy paper box the set originally comes in.

Well...my Pernowka decks arrived, crushed in transit. :(

The cards seem to be all right but the tucks were both damaged in multiple places. The cylinder packing tube might have worked to protect the decks if the end caps had been more solid. A shame to have a beautiful limited deck end up this way. :(

At least yours was taped, mine had the top totally off inside the package. Yet somehow I had no damage at all. That stinks for you since that extra tape didn't seem to matter. Post office employees must have been raging the day they shipped yours.

Strange - I've had more than a dozen uncuts and decks shipped to me in cylinder packing tubes, and there hasn't been a scratch or a dent in any of them! But then, they all had those white plastic endcaps on them...

Aww man, that really sucks. Sorry to see that. :(

I have been lucky that I haven't had any damaged in transit... yet. Then again, I've only been collecting a short time. I'm sure it's coming eventually.

Not really looking forward to that day.

On a lighter note, that's a nice poker set you've got there, Nate. I love that case. ;)

Yeah Nate, they must have gone postal on that package.
Thanks for the sympathy guys. I haven't had many damaged packages over the years so it always comes as a shock. And I really love these cards - wish one of the tucks had come through all right....

Hey tylergo, sorry to hear that.

Yeah, I definitely think the delivery was overly rough. The automated sorting and handling systems probably can't deal with a round container well. Doesn't find the edges soon enough. Mailing tubes seem to do all right though, with their strong plastic end caps.

I've asked Tolmski, through PM, if it's possible to purchase a flattened tuckbox to replace the most damaged one. It should be possible to send it as a letter, with cardboard reinforcement, so the shipping would be cheap.

I haven't spent a single penny on the Black Friday sales. Nothing has caught my eye...yet. But I did nab a killer deal on eBay. This sweet Fournier lot for less than $30! :ugdance:
Many thanks to Paula for the the tip! And this also marks the first round deck in my entire collection. :)

And I got the 78 Tarot today as well. The graphics are...for lack of a better word, girlier than I remember. Lot of cute cats, babies and hunks. Welp, looks like my sister is getting a tarot for Christmas.

I don't think they're that bad. I order a pair of tarots that I like so I can pick and choose cards to frame. Chosen fate is still my favorite. Wish I had gotten the large print of that one instead of the high priestess.

Finally got a white whale that was on my list before I started this card collecting thing. It's an alternate bridge sized deck from 1983 that counts in binary decimal (as opposed to binary representation like the Honeywell cards). The values are 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128 and then use operators (*, +) where each * takes priority over + for each number within each suit (they retain standard suits oddly). The image I took and attached below shows the order more clearly.

Just for kicks, I decided to track down the artist behind Fulton's October. Fun fact: turns out it's the same artist that did the Kraken Rum deck: Steven Noble. Found he does a lot of work for Espolón Tequila. And sure enough, a promotional deck was made for it. :)

Repeating courts is his thing throughout the designs, same with the jokers.

One more for the bone pile! :ugdance:

I really like that joker with the skeleton riding a rooster. Kinda wish they hadn't splashed JOKER over it in massive font, cool looking deck overall. Nice find. :D

Those jokers actually look more like drink coasters than cards - they look square.

@Eoghann
Have you found a coffin box for your skeleton cards yet? At the rate you're going you'll soon need an actual full sized coffin to house them all.
