Black Crowns now available, I thought it was going to be purple for some reason. New "limited" version in the standard Crown tuck case. Also if you spend $50 or more you get a free Snow Leopard NOC deck, yippee! lol
Just what we need an off-white/ivory colored NOC deck.

Speaking about thebluecrown, the "Crown Deck Bundle Deal" is pretty nice.
5 decks for 24,95 is a good deal, especially if you look how much a Gold Crown deck usually costs on other shops.

Gold & Silver members get 20% off with BIKE20...wonder if it checks your membership status when checking out and if you are not that tier member, it won't let you use the code?

Correct- I tried but it wouldn't let me. Which pisses me off because this site used to release about 1 deck per month at the inception of Club808 and it was by far the best subscription playing card service going. Now, they release one deck per year and expect us to maintain gold member status?? F them.

Cbkimble wrote:flashcards wrote:Latest update on her CALAVERAS DE AZĂCAR Playing Cards project:
So I backed the project for $1 and added $8 for one deck. That is well below the $13 base price for one deck. I don't believe that there is anything stopping those who have already pledged from doing the same and it doesn't look like there is any limit to the add-ons. That would make a brick $97 instead of $120. I hope this is what she intended. I could be wrong (and usually am) but it looks like she could lose a lot of money on this deal.
Of course there is.
(Please, NOTE you must keep your original pledge the same in order to use this deal, decreasing your original pledge wouldn't count!!!)
Not sure if you missed this or she added it, but it means you have to pledge for a deck before you can add one on for $8. I doubt she will allow you to just pledge $9 for a deck. That isn't even covering shipping.
I checked pretty closely to see if there was a catch, but I could have missed it. However, I think she probably added it later. In any case, I'm glad she did. I like saving money like everybody else but not at the expense of a reputable creator like Natalia. I'm glad that got cleared up. It was nice of her to offer the discount and I don't want to take advantage so I'm off to delete my $9 pledge. Thanks to Cbkimble and jerichoholic for clearing that up.

Art of Play has released Blue Wheels and the Jungle Deck. They have teased a third deck on IG but not for today I guess. Meanwhile D&D released diddly squat but you can spend $150 to get 1 of about 2500 private reserves free, lol. I'm sure there will be other better opportunities to get that deck.
One more to add to the list, Card Shark has released their new black Phoenix Shimpei Signature deck. Also not sure if I mentioned yet but Bomb Magic has released their new Cosmos decks, only 36 in each color available, if any are left. Seems you have to be signed up to get that early bird though as it isn't on the site, fortunately I am!

Ellusionist (
http://www.ellusionist.com/) -- The site is now live with their holiday lottery. Every dollar you spend adds to your chance to enter a lottery where the potential prize is a million dollars. Also, each deck of cards you order may or may not have had some money stuffed in it. As they've done in past years, spending at certain tiers will accrue additional freebies. No discounts or new decks have been announced, although E did recently launch the
Aurelians and the
Knights.
Since no one else has, I'll ask. How exactly do they plan to stuff money in each deck and still retain the cellophane? Or are you buying unwrapped decks? Am I missing something here (as usual)?

Thanks, everybody, for posting their news of new decks and special deals on this thread. They came in far too fast for me to update yesterday, especially given that I had family events, etc. It wouldn't surprise me if we have a sudden flurry of surprise Cyber Monday deals heading our way, as well.
I've updated the list as best I can to reflect some deals that are no longer in effect, but I'm sure there are some that I missed. Please feel free to update on this thread to share the news. Thanks!

I emailed E and they said they will be cutting the cello which is a dumb thing to do. Also the Legacy decks will be coming in a couple of weeks.

I've updated the first post, but am including the link here, too:

itslingo.com is having a sale as well, but not much in the way of savings. 5% off with the code xmasvip but their decks are $19.95 each. On a side note they now have 10 different language decks for anyone interested. Good for the travelers out there no doubt.

Not sure what thread to put this in but it seems like a good deal so I put it in two. Anyway, the S&M box set is only $50 TODAY ONLY with code: LUXURY. After shipping that's only $10.50 per deck.

Anyone that wants rare Madison decks, good luck:
The Madison Select Ballot is open.
When printing cards at USPCC, their minimum run was 2,500 decks.
We only produced 2,000 Madison Select Boxes.
Do the math!
That's 500 of <> up for grabs, and a f**k load of people who want them.
Simply add which decks you want to your cart and checkout. This does not guarantee you have them.
This is your only chance.
GREEN ROUNDERS (
http://www.ellusionist.com/green-rounders.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)
BLACK REVOLVERS (
http://www.ellusionist.com/black-revolvers.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)
BLUE DEALERS (
http://www.ellusionist.com/blue-dealers.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)
RED HUSTLERS (
http://www.ellusionist.com/red-hustlers.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)
Your order will be held until the 28th of December, my birthday, and only those selected will get shipping confirmations.
That brave few will own the last of the supply.
Anyone who wasn't lucky enough to be chosen in the ballot will get a full refund for the decks they purchased.
This isn't first come first serve. This isn't a bid war.
I am Daniel Madison. I control luck.

Okay, I share everybody's general disdain for the constant flood of recolors and the like from the Madison brand, but I have to admit, this marketing copy is really pretty audaciously funny. I like it *a lot*. It's funny on so many levels.
I wonder if they'll get orders for all 2,000 decks. Hmmmm.
Still, a tip of the hat where it's due; this raises the 'tude level. It reminds me of the old days when Ellusionist used to put together videos poking fun at David Blaine, et al.
