Jody,

How are you going to limit the $11 early bird decks to 100 if you let people add on multiple early birds?

It's limited to the number of people and most projects end up having the add-ons that price anyhow due to volume discount and additional shipping cost being minimal. That was the add-on price for Innovation standard BTW.

Sorry, I have not been getting any updates from UC :(

ecNate is correct. The limit is not based on the unit, but on the amount of backers that can get in the tier. I don't know if anyone has seen this yet, but the pricing for International is pretty nice. You can add up to 11 decks and get the shipping price at the price of 1 deck.

Also, if you go to my website http://www.jodyeklund.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I have a countdown timer that I will be going off of. But, there really is no hurry this time. If you get your pledge in within the first 24 hours you will get the Early Bird pricing, which include any additional add-ons. I always hated when I get in early on a page and tried to read the descriptions enough before all of the limited number goes out the door :) Take your time and choose what you want. The Early Birds are not going anywhere for the first 24 hours.

Thanks everyone who gave me some great comments. Oh Landry, have you seen the new rendering of the Dealer Coin. I hope that looks better. See you all on the KS page.

Jody

Am I correct- by pledging for the EB 1 deck ($11) and adding on and additional $22 (for 2 more decks), you can get all 3 decks for $33 including shipping?

Yes. I was confused at first too. I thought this can't be right. LOL. But it is. :)

Nice! As cool as the collection box is I'd rather spend less and still own all the decks. Woohoo! Jody sure runs good campaigns :ugdance:

EDIT: I especially like how he's not holding 1 of the decks hostage in an expensive tier as a ploy to make you buy more decks (which seems to be happening more and more often). All 3 decks, all the same price, all easily pledge-able. Double ugdance. :ugdance: :ugdance:

Hey guys, I'm doing another giveaway contest tied to this campaign. See the video at: https://youtu.be/CM0ydoqmTIE" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The winner will be selected once the INCEPTION Kickstarter campaign has ended. Good luck!!

PRIZE: 1 Unopened deck of Inception playing cards. Winner will be able to choose between the Inceptus, Intelluctus and Illustratum decks. HOWEVER, if you win this contest AND you happen to be a backer of the campaign (I will confirm with Jody once it is over), the prize will be one free add-on of your choice (Dealer Coin, T-shirt, Uncut Sheet).

Curious as to why it costs $12 shipping for the signature series with 3 decks and only $8 shipping if you just get the same 3 decks? It's virtually the same weight so why the difference?

The difference in cost could be that the 3-deck box for the collector's set put it over the edge for a more expensive shipping tier, or maybe there's insurance factored into the higher cost of the collector's set. Or the real reason may be he just set the shipping cost by price instead of actual shipping weight, but hopefully this isn't the case and there is a good explanation.
