Probably not that high. The indices have a border. That forces the rank and suit into the card. We want as many cards in our hand as possible.
Haha, Sprouts! You have a real obsession with the indices and pis, right?
You have a point though and I'll push them towards the edges.

Does it bother anybody else that it's spelled 'grotesk' instead of 'grotesque'? I get that you are trying to differentiate from the prior Grotesque deck and it's just a cool spelling variation so it's intentional, but it feels like an error when you look at it and I find distracting. Still getting one though, it's a minor point.

It's exactly how it's spelled in Norwegian, and I suspect in many other languages as well. So no, doesn't really bother me

I just thought Lotrek was trying to jazz it up with that K. Kinda like Boyz II Men and Bratz.

Jazzing up a name by using different letters like K and Z? That's just kinda silly, isn't it?

Exactly what Magi
Kfinger
Z said. It's how it is spelled in northern European languages. I wanted to give it a more heavy feeling as Grotesque is French and lighter at least to my eyes. But most importantly, Grotesk allows me to have the letter "T" in the middle of the word, making it like a sword:
But Eoghann's version is great, too!

The way you've got it laid out, it would be verrry easy to throw in some lefty indices. If you felt so inclined. Stretch goal maybe? Personally, I think 4 indices on a card can sometimes look really good just because. This might be one of those decks. They would add some weight, and weight is what this theme is all about.

Will there be a kickstarter preview link for this one? Not crucial, but always nice to take a look at the pledge tiers before it goes live. I will be at work when the kickstarter campaign goes live, but I have scheduled a mtg for myself and blocked off the time on my calendar.

Good article at Kardify and those images has me interested! I really like the King with the gothic cathedral integrated into it. In comparing the KoS I think I'm partial to the black backed deck which is a rare thing for me. I think the black background and lack of frame embellishments makes it stand out more. I'm tempted to get one of each now. Looking good!

Don't worry, we'll eventually get rid of those embellishments.
Clue...

Lotrek - OK, with the KoS. Black is best. F..k the court border and a dagger in the indices is best... Indices look uniform.

Well shit on a stick. Got there. Selected early bird, not logged in, tier gone. Oh well, went for 6 decks instead of brick.

Somehow managed to be Backer #2, any guesses on who was #1?
The animated feature kept me in for the limited, I actually prefer the standard, but I'm a sucker for gimmicks apparently.

I believe it's just the tuck cases that will be printed on black or gold stock, not the cards.
Edit. Damn, slow on the enter button again.
