Re: USPC's "Bicycle 808 Club" -- Official Thread
Well they did say that only members will be able to buy the remaining decks so I might get an extra one
Re: USPC's "Bicycle 808 Club" -- Official Thread
Then they hit eBay at crazy high prices (even though you can get one for $18.85) and other people now have a 'club' deck without being in the club.
Maybe it is just me because I am not in this to make a quick buck, but ALL "members only" merchandise (from any company) should be limited to 1 per membership to keep out the public. I am a member for a reason.

Re: USPC's "Bicycle 808 Club" -- Official Thread
I agree, they should limit the amount people can buy to no more than 2. If people want to make money, get a real job or create your own decks to sell (hey it ain't a bad idea!).Russell wrote:Then they hit eBay at crazy high prices (even though you can get one for $18.85) and other people now have a 'club' deck without being in the club.

Re: USPC's "Bicycle 808 Club" -- Official Thread
To be clear, as a designer and seller, I want my cards in as many hands as possible. I love my resellers who buy in bulk! I just don't like the idea of a members exclusive item to be sold in multiple quantities, wherein the public will receive them easily.vjose32 wrote:I agree, they should limit the amount people can buy to no more than 2. Re: USPC's "Bicycle 808 Club" -- Official Thread
I think 2 deck limit should be fine. Like some said, 1 for the collection and 1 to open... seems pretty reasonable to me. Though I'm for multiple decks, and like Russel, I'm in this for the hobby, not to scalp them and make a quick buck the very next day... *cough*Gold Arcane Sheets*cough* ![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)

I'm curious... Was the USPCC not able to get a more garbage looking deck whose name looks like it was graffiti'd on the back of a bodega... With all the decks flowing through their plant, you'd figure they might have an idea about what looks nice, especially to kick off their own club... Fail in my book...

Once again you fail to take the time to actually read before you speak. It clearly states:
We have original, one-of-a-kind DECKS

There is no need to be a complete and total jerk. I clearly said I don't like the club deck (club 808) but are Is it worth it for everything else. I e access to other decks.
I haven't seen what the up coming (exclusive) decks look like, but members who already have access might have and be able to provide info.
I'm not sure what your problem is but in future keep it to yourself. Or at least learn some basic reading and deductive reasoning skills before you go jerk on folks for no reason.

Sorry, but I do not need to keep my opinions to myself. That is what a forum is for. If you took the time to read the thread, you would have seen they already have a new deck coming out for club members, so it isn't just the club 808 deck. But I guess if it isn't spelled out EXACTLY like ebay would do it, you are too impatient to read. Not a surprise, since I saw you post on what postage should be. I guess you don't even take the time to read ebay because If you did, you would know that there is final value fees on shipping for the past 6 or 8 months.
Thanks!

I'm not 100% convinced, as there are 6 different "decks" shown and the other 5 pics are of jokers and Aces;DukeBoy wrote:if you look at page two of this thread you will notice a picture of a up coming deck.
