Okay - that was cool. I love how the deck transforms from black & white into color - must be special stock.
(But seriously, nice effect.)

Cool video, and awesome back design! It's simple, but looks nice, and will definitely look great in flourishes. I just wish they had thinner borders...

I hope there's more to it than looking good in spins...

Hmmm, not a fan of that AoS. Looks like an ad card to me. I know, I know.

Now I'm really curious about the courts.
It would be great if they followed suit and made them all in this somewhat
cubist style.

I think the Ace of Spades is pretty cool! It's simple, but it still pops.

Did you see the pic on page 2 of the queens? Slightly modified and redrawn, but not cubist or anything like that.

Missed that. O well.

Do we have a release date on these yet?

Can anyone tell me why these would have a border at all? The three fanning decks I have are all border-less backs. Wouldn't having a full bleed produce better effect?

No one said its a fanning deck.

No one said it was a fanning deck, but there's no question fanning is a significant part of cardistry, and this is supposed to be a cardistry-specific deck. Its primary purpose is not magic or poker, but flourishing. I too am surprised the borders are as thick as they are and wonder why there are any borders at all.....

Thanks alric, good to know I am not off the mark. I always understood fanning and arm spreads to be where cardistry started.
Still waiting for that deck of cards which is full bleed design for cardistry on both sides of the card, leaving the traditional card faces out entirely. I think it was first suggested back on the old UC. The closest I have seen is the dragon fanning deck but it still includes the traditional faces, sharing space with the dragon, and has no slip without fanning powder.

Hey Dazzle, I think you should check out De'Vo's Dominion Deck, it's primarily designed for fanning and has a full-bleed back designed to have black fans in one direction, and red fans in the other direction. The faces are also full-bleed and are very non-traditional, there are almost no pips and very minimalistic court cards.

That general concept has been on my doodle pad for a while now. I think that will take a pretty ballsy leap of faith in the market to make those in quantity. Maybe someday...

@alric
Thanks, I will take a peek. Haven't looked at any De'Vo cards in a while and didn't know he had gone in that direction.

It will be a first, and often the first attempt at something does not meet with success because people don't really like radical change. On the other hand being first can make you the standard for a new form and bring fame, and maybe money. Imagine future books on cardistry, or on collecting, referring to the first deck made only for cardistry by.....

$8.99 for one deck.
No real discounts unless you buy a brick.
The idea of getting tutorials is nice and fits the overall theme of this deck BUT
I would like to save my money on real discounts like 15% off when buying a brick.
I would go for 1-3 decks depending on the shipping price for international customers.

So they're completely standard in every way... "Only $8.95 ea."
Still passing.
--- EDIT ---
Ignore this, I am dumb.
