It's just a Muppet youtube video. Maybe you're on a device that doesn't load those?

Hmmm very strange, they usually work. I hope I don't get a call from an angry re-animated Henson some day.

It's a shame you can't see the video. You are really becoming an up and coming artist. I guess you know repeating courts are not a good thing and different colors does not cut it. You really have 2 options. Either you, at least change the item they are holding. You can change the clothing too. OR go with traditional courts. One eyed Jacks, Suicide Kings, ect. What will you decide?... :( :P :o

Hey thanks, that means a lot.

I have decided. Did you see the last update further up this page. I have changed all the card faces to include unique and classic features. Theres still some work to do but there is much more variation now.

SOme progress updates for court designs.
The one eyed Jack's are wearing a monocle I also tried the traditional side profile but I like the monocle idea after trying both ways. There is also a one eyed King.
The suicide king is hanging from a rope and is the only character with a white face. His bubble blowing has also ceased
Each character has its suit threaded into its tapestry
And facial hair and weapons are adapted throughout.

That's pretty clever, I like that. Following tradition without actually following tradition ;)

I really like this, but could you make every suit have the same colored face? Like clubs pink, spades blue, diamonds yellow, and hearts orange, minus the white king? I just think suit continuity would look better, if it's not too much work to recolor a few cards again.

Oh, go on then, since you asked so nicely....

The latest update is a big improvement from the beginning. Well done! I think you have a winner.

I was just going to comment about how much I liked the new face color consistency within the suits except for the KoH! The white face totally makes sense now! However, just be warned another deck did something similar, but Kickstarter terms state no images of executions and another self hanging was interpreted like that and they had to change it. Just have a plan B is all I'm saying, but I love it!

Was it KS that complained or USPCC. I thought the deck in question got rejected at USPCC. If this deck is going with LPCC/EPCC the king might not be an issue.

Yes, the Olde Bones deck had to change theirs. I was also under the impression that it was USPC who objected.

Right I see how interesting. But you can show the King stabbing himself in the head? Its not exactly a gruesome image as they are quite abstract but I guess time will tell.

I'm pretty sure it was the USPCC. If you remember, Kickstarter doesn't give a crap just as long as they get their 5%.

Wasn't the Americana deck (by Russell K) printed by USPCC? That had a pretty gruesome suicide King.

I can only find it here and it doesnt look too gruesome, perhaps they did change it.

This will be printed by Legends, they are looking over the designs now. I guess I will find out soon enough.

Yeah, hmmm. Not as gruesome as I recalled, but I'll find the one I was thinking of.

Even so, as you say, the point is moot. LPCC <> USPCC.

I believe Kleetz with Lumberjacks v2 ended up changing his suicide king with a noose because of USPCC.

I think you're good. But as Nate said, have a backup. :)

Yeah, I think you are correct on that. It was USPCC that had the issue, which was silly. I'll try digging that up later, but I would still be prepared just in case.

EDIT - Yes, it was USPCC who has that in their rules and Lumberjacks thought it would be a problem, but apparently legal approved it anyhow due to context

JUst tell the people at the USPCC that they are muppets. Violence is everywhere you just have to manage it. The more they don't look like real people the more they will probably let you slide, but a backup is advisable.

This is violent for the Shrimpee.

Rabbit hole. [MURRAY] [MURRAY] [MURRAY] The popcorn song is Here
Warning: Don't watch the video. You will be sacred for life, but jump out of the rabbit hole and read about it

Here I think reading about it on Wikipedia and listening to the song at the same time makes it more interactive. Say no to Videos. What language was that at the end?

Do you like Metal?

Do you like Classical? You will notice at :43 they change things. It's to obvious.

OK, great advise I will make sure there is something set aside for just in case...

Legends will be releasing this deck. Lawrence has looked over the new designs and is satisfied with the new layout so it seems they will be released directly by them, which is great news for me also. Even though he has given them the thumbs up I have pointed out the new King specifically to him to ensure it has simply not slipped his glance.
