Quick question. when considering a deck like Golden Spike for example, do all of the variations count? What I mean is Black Ink, Standard, Gold LE? The same goes for other KS decks that had multiple variations. Sorry for the confusion!

Yup they all count as the same "deck" BUT GS is not in the running this year =)

EDIT: A better example would be Dia De Los Muertos. The Painted deck would be a strong candidate for best use of colors but the black variation would not. Thanks again for the help!

But Dia De Los Muertos would be as a set not each deck individually, right Kai? Standard and LE decks were grouped together?

Good point. I agree. That's kinda what I meant but you said it better....

yeap thats what i meant, anything you guys specified LE or not LE gets grouped into the same "deck" by me anyways =)

I agree. I suppose the distinction is more than one campaign, at least that works for KS decks.

Anything (just like the Prohibition set) that was all in one project is not a series in my mind.

I'm having a difficult time making my decisions as always haha. 2014 was LOADED with great decks. I may be a last minute entry.

Yeah, I agree. I got so many KS items over the past two weeks that I put it aside until I can go look and see what's supposed to be mine and what was intended to be prize.

Basically there will be a first, second, third place [in each category] after the votes are collated, if you voted anything that is in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd place, you get 5,3,1 points respectively =)

LOL... The winners of the categories isn't too bad, it's figuring out who gets how many points that is the cross-eyed part! I'm glad Kai is in charge of the tally of the scores.

Kai can win a prize, but I can't. That's why he always submits his votes first, before anyone shows their cards.

Spreadsheets can be amazing, hopefully Kai is using some kind of system or has help. Doing that manually would be even worse.

Haha of course im using a spread sheet, hence determining the winners aint that bad, its when i have to reverse calculate the points for each participant.. i might need some help next year
