What came first? I'm sure it does have something to do with his personal story also. A shady person hustling other shady people. Daniel got what he deserved. No need to celebrate the event by creating a deck of cards or associating it with a biblical story. I believe Daniel Madison is mocking the Trinity.
I like Daniel Madison but I expect more from him then this. He is no Daniel in the Den of Lions.

What came first is irrelevant. The story is so well known it's become a figure of speech. Like swimming with the sharks. Although I reckon Daniel's Shark Tank didn't have the same effect.
Please keep your religious conspiracies at bay. I'm pretty sure it's just a marketing ploy.

Then he should not be using it. Its offensive.

That's subjective. To me and many others it's just an expression, nothing more and nothing less:

Strangely enough, anyone has yet to take me up on that offer despite the deck apparently isn't worth even the shipping cost.

"Anyone familiar with the story: Daniel in the Den of Lions?"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daniel_in_the_lions%27_den" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Daniel believed God sent an angel to shut the mouths of the lions so as not to hurt him, because he was blameless before his God and his king. He was then brought out of the den unscathed.
That could be a card in IT' earliest sense... nice find wsop-legacy.

$10
*sigh* I guess there are people out there who pay that much for this kind of deck nowadays..... for 10 bucks i´m getting a nice designed Seasons or Sawdust (insert random custom deck of 2014) deck...but yeah...it´s made for MADISON´s casino.

There's just so much in there that's eye roll / cringe worthy. A casino that's a safe-haven for crooked gamblers. Yeah wonder why that business plan didn't garner investors.

But he is so edgy and cool! I would love to get hustled by DM in his casino!

Cbkimble wrote:What it came out tomorrow that these were printed for a casino and E was allowed to pull enough decks for their black club members and some for gifts and prizes but none would be available to the general public? This would make a rarity of this deck and you'd all kick yourselves in the ass. Lol.
Oops! Epic fail with that prediction.
I think I'm gonna go spend all my imaginary money at Madison's imaginary casino.......

Hey, it was all in fun. I was trying to find some light in the darkness of this deck but looks like it's all darkness. I doubt they sell out anytime soon. By soon I mean 5-10 years. They'll be giving them away as free gifts at Christmas next year.

I think this is definitely your best prediction so far

People are willing to pay an unjustified amount of money for this deck, a bid of 17.99 on ebay [emoji23]

Or like 42$ priority shipping single deck to EU + 20$ custom fee prepaid so you dont have to pay when arrives with some global shit program where as i have been told you pay higher amount and when arrives you still need to pay taxes...

I'm quite pleased to see the border registration on these decks are better than some of the recent decks to come from USPCC.
