The only reason I picked up the $125 tier is so I'd have the complete set. Not really interested in the "MEGA TUCK". I know, blasphemy.

I would very much love to see the Special Edition Ascendant handmade tuck.

Pretty much have given up on every getting any sort of ultra-limited editions any more. Ah well.

I know a lot more people want things like the MegaTuck or Special Edition. Unfortunately, hand making things is a truly time consuming thing. It's really easy to say "sure, I'll make 100 megatucks" but then you hit the reality of spending hours, and hours, and hours, and hours making them and ensuring they are as perfect as you can. I could just mass produce them, but that would defeat the purpose of offering something unique that no one else could replicate.

So, as with anything, it's a big balancing act. I totally understand if you missed out and are bummed. Trust me, I'm not a heart-breaker by nature, but with Encarded, a real job, 2 kids and a wife I only have so many hours in the day. Lol.

Everything looks amazing Paul. I knew I wouldn't be able to make the launch and would miss the early birds. I'm o.k. with that. What makes me really sad is to find that I might have had a chance to get an original Tendril deck. I've been looking for one for a year at a reasonable price.

So, if anyone decides to drop a pledge level with one, I'd be thrilled to take it off your hands!

I'll add my request that if anyone decides to drop their Megatuck to let me know.

Yea, I actually heard from another source it opened earlier than the stated time. Maybe something to explore. I'm going to wait and pledge till the end and help with the big push.

This is a nice deck, and the art speaks well to my fractal math mindset. 20K funded in around 6 hours... very nice job their Mr. Carpenter.

Totally forgot about this so the 2 EB can be thankful hehehehe. Also internet on the job is now a no no , making it difficult for these KS projects that come out during work hours. I was in for a pair of decks using my smartphone and decided to check in a few times to see if anything would open up. Karma was good because on my second check there was a $75 pledge sitting nice and fat and open. So got in on the limited deck. I can monitor the $125 pledge for someone if they want... who know with my luck

Paul told me through PM that he opened the KS 8 minutes earlier because he needed the "live link" to send the marketing emails.
While I do understand this, I do not get why this prevent opening the KS at the stated time and send the emails a bit later ...

No, it's not possible. You have to sit there and watch the clock and hit the big green button ("Launch").

I was in a meeting until 10:05 and all the MegaTuck tiers were already gone. I settled for the $75 tier that's not quite as special. If anybody gets ready to jump off one of those MegaTuck slots, please let me know!

I got some official USPCC proofs today and the cards are going to be really great. The colors are majorly intense and the detail came out great. Don't kick yourself later for skipping these.

Looks incredible, Paul! Just wish I could get in on that $75 level.

Chach, I was in a meeting at work that supposedly ended at 10, but ended up finding not a single "TT" tier left basically a minute or two after 10. I ended up with one of the $75 tiers ("SP", I think) and added my own pair of 'usable' decks for $22. If anyone here is going to jump off a TT tier, let's figure it out and you'll end up with your $75 tier.

And so it begins. I postulated a few weeks back that we'd soon see people offering to buy spots and consequently people grabbing tiers just to sell them off at a later point. Looks like we're finally there unfortunately.

As if it weren't hard enough to grab a good tier already at launch time, now we will have to deal with Tier Scalpers.

Woohoo!! Switched my pledge over to the new level and when I went back to double check on everything I saw that someone had dropped their Special Edition pledge so I snagged that one instead. Thank you to whomever dropped it.

Actually it was posted about 30 hours apart Russell. Not sure if that should be taken as breaking a rule. Lol.

@widdee - Yep. The days of seeing free shipping on Kickstarters for US backers is over. Kickstarter has somewhat improved the model and split the shipping costs. There will be no more of duping international backers because the creators forgot to take out the US shipping.

Thanks for the birdseye lowdown, Sprouts. Gonna hurt'em. Bet I'm not the only one who saw that and said the hell with it.

Let's be clear... shipping was never "free" for US backers, it was included in the pledge amount. However International backers were constantly getting screwed due to the fact that it was often the full amount of International shipping being added in. Only a minority of projects took the amount added in for US shipping into account.

Unfortunately it appears that many projects are now taking the break out of shipping to keep deck prices the same but adding on US shipping. It's more transparent and fairer for Internationals, but in essence average deck prices are effectively going up. Note that this doesn't appear to be the case for Tendril.

You are not. Even though I didn't back out I hesitated for a bit before I pledged. I didn't think the "free" shipping could last forever but at the moment it's still reasonable enough for me to pledge. I assumed this helped the international backers after I saw how cheap the shipping costs were for them compared to what they used to be so if it helps give them a break, I'm more than okay with it. With shipping prices as high as they are I don't know how they even collect playing cards...
