Thanks for the reccomendation. I was actually thinking of this when I scrolled to your post. Well timed Sir. :ugdance:

According to Coffee with the Bucks at least 2 deck releases. Prime on Art of Play made by Expert Cards and looking colorful like the Bold deck. And a deck Ricky Smith made for his wedding, less than a thousand available also be Expert Cards.

Well that is the black Friday way. Mark everything up 20% so 15% looks like a great deal. Lol.

Edit: I guess I need to clarify that this was not intended as fact.

The only prices that were changed on PC.net were the RUN playing cards. I was told by my sales manager that this was done because we are very low on stock of these decks and is typical for high demand collectable items. Had nothing to do with the Black Friday sale.

Doesn't seem like they jumped to me- I remember them being $10 and $15, respectively, last week and they're still the same price today... :?:

I believe the bankroll edition is what Eddie was referring to.

Ashe if you could let me know what products you are referring to that were in your cart I can check into the issue. We are not out here to rip anyone off or make "Scummy moves".

I only increased pricing for one deck which was listed individually as well as in a set of 3.
The deck is Run Playing Cards Bankroll Edition. We have been selling these for $22/deck and a set of 3 for $45.
We now have very limited stock on these decks left therefore we increased the price as we won't have any more once we stock out. Its all demand & supply rule specially in the collectors market.
We are still the cheapest on this deck.
Please check at http://www.collectableplayingcards.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; that the same deck is being sold for $99.99
Let me know which other deck price has been changed because as per our record except this item nothing has been changed.

@Cbkimble: Please i request you not to form perceptions & spread forward based on a single transaction, if you are not sure what the situation is... We have always offered prices significantly lower than market pricing with the best service.

Thanks
Eddie

Gah! I wish I'd known that you had the Bankroll edition for that price for a three-pack. Argh! Looks like now, all you have is the singletons at the larger price. Alas.

Where's the emoji for kicking oneself?

You can stop kicking - I think it was 1 of each (run, heat, bankroll) for $45.

Ah, prices go up and down with no rhyme or reason. This might have a rhyme. Can you image there is some guy on a chair of 5000 bankroll decks. Watching ppl squabble over the first few releases of his deck. I love it. This guy is the King of his throne... He is a genius.

This is going to be a good Black Friday. I have finally figured what "Black Friday" is. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Friday_(shopping)Black Friday is a day to spend money on yourself before you have to put yourself in debt for Christmas. When I was young I saw Christmas stuff the day after ThanksGiving. Now I see it 2 weeks before Halloween. When I die I might see it right after the 4th of July.

Thanks rousselle this is a good thread to have every year...

I am going to make this very clear. I was not making a statement about GW in any way. They just happened to be the subject of discussion when I stated this. My post was in general discussion of my opinion of many black Friday discounts.

If you read it thinking I was referring to GW, that's your mistake. I even stated that I didn't see much difference in price.

I do NOT feel I made any derogatory statements about GW but I will apologize for it being taken out of context. I hope this clears this matter and I ask that it be dropped.

Thank You.

It was a shopping cart at CartesMagie he was talking about, not GW? Darn, things get confused! The "Bankroll" decks were $45 at GW, and it is the only price out of the Run decks that has changed. $50 for "Bankroll" alone or $75 for the set of three Run decks.
That Bankroll deck alone is $100 elsewhere.

Actually collectableplayingcards has reduced it to match GW price already. So the bankrolls are going for around $50/piece every where now.
