Simply amazing the way you made the heart courts link together and fit either way! Normally people would squawk about them not being "two-way", but in his case it's for an obvious reason, and you certainly pulled it off - in spades, oh - in hearts! (sorry)

I guess the question now is which side up is going to be shown on the uncut sheet? Not that it really matters though.

Thanks Mike!
Yashi, the second scene with the successful girl at the lemonade stand will be the one shown right-side-up (in uncut sheets, the heart courts are ordered K, Q, J).

Emmanuel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I accept my fate to buy every deck you produce, but was hoping I could stop with uncuts on your first two. But then you had to go and make a triptych. Combined with your creative ideas and fun artistic style I now HAVE to get an uncut, doesn't even matter if the theme isn't my usual favorite. This deck is just screaming for an uncut. May as well start finding room for Sawdust uncut too and build more walls for your future projects.
You're evil, but I still like you.
Also, not gonna like - at first I totally thought they were 2 sets of cards. Somehow didn't even notice the bottom images were different and not mirroed, maybe I was so fascinated by the design and comparing them I wasn't thinking? Was all like, "is he just not sure which one to use, why post same set of cards with different poses?"
I love it though, very cool.

Hello, your last update on KS was 27th may, why give some news here not on KS for every backers.....
It's not very polite

Hi Oswin, more KS updates will occur. There just wasn't much to report for the majority of June. You're right though, I'm sorry for being impolite.
Nate, thank you very much
The triptychs have been a lot of fun to make. Sawdust has a triptych too, but only for the Spade court cards.

Thank you 52Ravens, Malcolm K! The Ace of Hearts made up of hands was mistakenly uploaded into the Sawdust album. The card was for Valentine's Day.

From the Sawdust KS campaign:
This year, I've been working on Delicious, the 4th deck in the series. Here's a first look at the card I just completed this weekend:
As usual, looks great so far!

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to that in an uncut. Going to look awesome smack in the middle of an uncut. I think this may overtake Curator as my favorite uncut sheet, although that Fed 52 Black Reserve will always be right up there. Amazing work from Emmanuel as always.

I can't wait to back this one but I must say- I'm Catholic but not "super religious" but I don't know how I feel about the mock of the Last Supper.. I guess I'm curious why Emmanuel chose to do that for this deck? Either way, it won't stop me from pledging. As long as Emmanuel keeps making decks, I'll keep buying them!

I think the "last Supper" take-off to be brilliant and in keeping with the many many MANY variants done throughout the centuries. I'm not sure what there is to be offended about religiously. It's not like the original work is an actual religious artifact. I always buy a brick of all of Emmanuel's decks and this will not be an exception.

I agree. I'm not really religious at all myself, but there's no denying that some of the greatest artwork in history was inspired by religion. That artists today mimic or pay tribute to some of those works of art is only natural and reminds us that when it comes to art, "they didn't make 'em like they used to".

Well, the Last Supper painting is probably one of if not
the most famous artistic rendition of something food-related, so for him to do a pastiche of it isn't that weird in my book. And as an atheist I look at it as a painting that happens to have a religious motif rather than a religious item that happen to be a painting and can't therefore see anything off-putting with any variations of it. I guess we all carry with us our own connotations for this piece of art.
Edit: Whoops. Two answers covering almost the same thing before me. I guess that's what happens when you open a tab and forget to check it for a little while, didn't mean to "pile on".

I'd like to clarify that I don't find it distasteful, just odd. Has anyone seen History of the World Part 1? Very funny skit related to the last supper:
And that doesn't offend me at all. Neither does this. I guess I'm just confused by it. But I would also disagree that it's one of the most famous paintings about food in the sense that da Vinci didn't paint it with food as it's leading subject. Not to mention Campbell's soup...
