Thanks for stopping in and saying hi! Glad you agree on the borderline issue. The designers who respond constructively to the criticism here seem to do really well.
As for the 1-way vs. 2-way issue, some people are just
super anal about this!
Me... not so much. I think your back is generally symmetrical enough, and it's obviously a
major element of your theme for the two crowns, shields, helmets, etc to be different from each other. Up to you, but i would totally understand sticking to your guns on this one. I wouldn't change anything more than making the swords two-way.

I'm somewhere in the middle, I guess. If it's obvious enough, I hate 1-way. This one is fine by me though, as th4mo says they're "symmetrical enough" and so they shouldn't look too bad when they're shuffled.

Doesn't bother me but I'm not a trickster. The detail on the backs is incredible. To be honest, I didn't notice they weren't two-way until it was brought up here, which says it is subtle.

As Sher and other guys mentioned, the price for a deck is a little high. At first, we set lower prices for rewards, but we wanted tuck to be shiny and refined regardless stretch goals, so we decided to raise prices a bit and get tucks foiled and embossed. Hope this seem reasonable for backers.
I personally love this approach. We all love foil and embossment- so why not set the bar high from the get-go? If a deck just barely makes its funding without any stretch goals (like foil and embossing) then maybe it could have A) either done better if it had those elements in the first place or B) shouldn't have funded at all. I'll take the price hike with the assurance of quality, foil and embossing any day.

Like th4mo said, if just the swords were two way then it'll be cool. With the $14 price for one deck, it seemed like it'll be shiny and embossed before the creator mentioned it. Two decks with the box for $30 is a great deal.

I don't believe my ears. You guys are liking his "1-way back" Ah, it's true. If it doesn't show in a fan and doesn't pose a conflict "1-way backs" are ok. Looks like you need to make a fan like this guy did and put it on your Kickstarter. As for the courts. I still think the trend will be larger indexes if the large suit badge is taken out. Plus your courts are hard to distinguish from each other. You have chosen to go with a even monotone color which is fine...

I don't seem to like tuck bells & whistles as much as many people do, so I'd prefer not to pay an extra 25% price hike right off the bat for features I wouldn't have chosen on my own. If a stretch goal enables the feature, great: the extra cost is distributed among the larger number of backers. The free stickers/bookmarks stuff that some creators throw in when they reach certain levels of funding--to offset what would otherwise be perceived as a windfall, I suppose?--aren't really things I would've chosen own my own, either.

Hi guys! I'm back with an update for our project.
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/sp ... sts/871234
I enlarged indexes a bit. I made a mockup deck with printer and they look better. Thank you all for your advices!
Now we are working on our back design. please look forward to our future update.

as a Magician (and not a card juggler) I don't mind one way backs as long as it's a "secret" but when it's blatant - I tend to shy away. Don't get me wrong, I'm down for a deck - was from the beginning, but for me it would go in the collection - and not into rotation.

Hi everyone.
Thank you all for your comments.
We finally made a decision with our back design, hope your guys find it interesting.
We simplified the back graphic a bit and removed white border of Gold Edition.
We decided to keep 1way deck to show our concept, confrontation more clearly.
We are going to make our next deck 2way for sure, haha.

Well i think that the one-way back is granted.
However if you could double the number of swords in the middle, instead of having them become double-handle swords, it would really be much better. Well that and thinner borders, you can go thinner.

Got mine today (Gold), it did not disappoint! I'm starting to appreciate the embossed tucks more and more as well, originally I just thought it was nice, but it's feeling more essential the more of them I have gotten lately. The tuck is awesome and the backs are nicely detailed, the card quality is right up there as well. I had expected this to be one that makes it into the primary display and it passes!

I only got the silver deck. I guess the silver deck has silver pips for hearts/diamonds and gold deck has gold heart and diamonds pips. I though both decks had the gold and black pips.
