They will be sold on HOPC's website with a very small reserve sold on our site. Fully custom, each card was designed from scratch and features one of a kind court cards. I'll let HOPC show you the courts tomorrow, Alex is a much better photographer than I am! Ohh, and you guys will love the price of these decks, I venture to say they will be gone by next weekend, possibly sooner.

I'll have more info to share tomorrow, I'm too busy watching football and digesting a 20lb turkey!

It's a 'tease' because it's not finished yet. I physically can't show it all.

If its a custom brick case, you should really consider both 6 and 12 deck capacities.

But a 6 deck case wouldn't be a brick case :P

It could be called a short brick or half brick.

i am sort of shocked you didnt sell out of hornets so far.

i consider it my "perfect deck" the design is classic but well made. the real join though is in the feel. they feel amazing. they feel amazing day one. and they feel amazing weeks later after using it for real poker play, not just for show.

I'm in the same boat as you Fluffy. CARC's 'Skull & Bones' and my 'Hornets' are two of my favorite everyday decks. They both hold up well and have great understated designs.

I have a feeling they will run out when I release the next deck in the Heritage Collection. I have narrowed my choice down to two designs and I am going to let everyone vote on the deck that will be printed. They both are very recognizable and respected vintage decks. I'll have a bit more info on them early in the New Year.

Oh that sounds awesome!

Will you have the same stock and finish combo? Will you have a gilded version?(not that I will have a shot at it because it will sell out in 5 minutes.

Hornets are one of my favourite decks, so simple yet attractive. Perhaps the only reason they havent sold out is that ccc is always sold out of everything else (a good thing for you of course  ) and people are looking to get a variety at once to save on shipping, which is why i think that its gonna be all sold out with the release of the next deck. Well and maybe the timeless look doesnt appeal quite as much to younger crowds.

I like to think I am part of the younger crowd....25? I love the look of the Hornets and just purchased some today, should be fantastic for card games. But you're probably right, maybe it doesn't appeal to much of the younger crowd.

Russell,

I was just visiting you website tonight to look at some pictures of the Azure and Sanguine decks, and you still don't have any up there yet. You really ought to get the pics up there since you are still selling them and the site says images coming soon.

PS: The proper spelling for "Propper" is proper.

Thanks for the update, Russell. I'm curious as to how the last one in the series will look. Teaser time? ;)

Well the third (last) one wont be coming out for another 10-14 months. I had a design all ready planned out (and was going to tease) but I decided on changing the look completely. All I have is a rough sketch right now. I am leaving it alone to see if I like it when it gets closer to the release.

I will have a teaser for my next KS project coming soon. This one is going to be completely different than the current trend of black, skulls and mysterious legends. In fact it is pretty much the exact opposite of that... bright, alive and beautiful colors.

I'm getting my first Circle City deck this week. I won an auction for an Americana deck - I've been kicking myself ever since they came out for not picking one up. I really want this new deck as well and the Hornets next. I agree with the others here, the hornet deck looks like an amazing every day deck. I love simple designs.

I was in the same boat as you. I didn't start collecting until after Americana and Brimstone was produced. I can tell you that the Americana deck is wonderful, very cool and unique. The hornets are amazing as well, very cool retro design with a nice off white/cream color instead of the bright white you usually get. It's a great everyday use deck and you definitely won't be disappointed with them. I suggest picking up a few before they're all gone.

Can't wait for the next release from Russell's heritage series
