"Hello Knights,

Thank you for your support during our Halloween special!

To celebrate your support, and to thank you for being an awesome backer, we've made some cool Dark Templar glow in the dark bracelets.

Their glow is so intense, that they appear to have a mystical power. These Dark Templar official backer bracelets are available exclusively here on kickstarter for $7 each.

Thank you.

Don't forget to be awesome!

Michael"

Bring on the Fluff items! More Fluff the better to pad the Kickstarter project. The only thing is all this Fluff is digitally made. It's not pictures of real stuff. Makes me want to ask who are the suppliers?

An Interesting question in the comment section:

Scout Johnson - "Hi Guys,
I sent y'all a private message earlier regarding the art for the court cards. I haven't received a reply, but I notice that all of the court cards have disappeared from the site. Can you clarify the status of the artwork?
Thanks
--scout
For those of you who are curious, it was pointed out to me that the artwork was very similar to that of another artist.

If anyone has invested some money in this deck, I would strongly suggest check out the comment section. You have to think everything those guys have listed including Fluff items are digitally made. Nothing is real...

Straight from the comments http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/car ... k/comments:

"Guys, we have a license to use the artwork, the rights to use (and print) the illustrations have been acquired through the shutterstock license of Vuk's work, if you are curious see here: http://www.shutterstock.com/g/fotokosti ... lustracije" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
We are currently trying to see the possibility of hiring him for future decks and also to improve our court cards, instead of paying shutterstock's expensive licenses. Thanks!"

I had an early bird pledge for 2 decks, but I backed out a couple days ago. Not altogether comfortable with this project, so I'll just wait for them on eBay.

I just got this in the mail, I only got one deck, so I probably won't open it.

The tuck does look pretty dark, and some things are hard to distinguish. I imagine that the cards are going to be hard to make out as well. The metallic ink on the back of the tuck is pretty disappointing, it probably would have been better just to print the original image. There is no embossing on the tuck. I do like the custom seal.

Since I haven't opened it, I have no idea what their special mystery finish is.

The first image is without flash, this is how it looks normally. The second image shows that the flash brings out a lot more detail, but it's not what you'll see with your naked eyes.

Notice how the gold metallic ink doesn't react to the flash.

I also received my decks today!! One thing that I noticed and really liked was the finish on these cards - its a smooth finish (I think its called this way!!).

As others mentioned, the metallic ink doesn't pops on normal light conditions.

I think metallic inks are one of the most over-rated options on playing cards. They never really look that metallic and most people (non-cardists and non-collectors) will never notice unless its pointed out to them, and sometimes even then they don't see it. The only decks that had effective use of metallic inks that I can think of are the Gargoyle deck and the original first edition Mana deck.

I am more suprisedā€¦ after nine years, the Red version comes out. Itā€™s likeā€¦ reviving an old long dead deck from the past
