Just some feedback: Pledging a basic deck for 20€ then adds 20€ shipping to the US. Pledging the alpha deck for 30€ adds 10€ shipping to the US.

oops. Well...

You can't change a tier once it's created, but you can add new ones. You might even be able to delete tiers if they have no backers, but don't quote me on that. Shipping tends to be the hardest part for producers to calculate, from my understanding. Best to talk to veterans like Lorenzo who have it figured out.

thanks! i put a lot of myself in the project and really hope it finds enough public! If so i strongly consider doing more (i really want to design a full playing tarot for example). Maybe even unearth my patreon or something!

Good luck with the campaign, hope it funds well. Looking through the page for it though, you really should add pics of the other tuck options, specs for the cards and info on the printer.

The project looks great! I gotta echo that the shipping seems high, especially when each add-on also adds its own fairly high shipping, and presumably it will all be shipped together. I'm worried that it may turn away potential backers. I think it would be worth it to do some more research and see if its possible to lower the shipping costs. I'm still in, but I probably would have added more if not for the shipping. Either way, good luck!

Hello there, thanks to both of you for the great feedback!

- regarding the cards specs: they are printed in 5 colors on german black core & laminated (the laminating options will be probably different depending on the choosen version). The size of the cards is a standard poker size

- regarding the shipping, it is alas skyrocketing as soon as an ocean has to be crossed. On the other hand i will keep looking for quality options regarding that because i must say i am not 100% satisfied either with how it feels. Will keep looking up ideas for next projects.


the evening new is that we hit a first milestone of 50% funding, which i am not gonna lie, i did not think i would reach in ten hours. Let's hope it keep going sure and steady, quite a lot of people fav'd it and did not act on it yet, so I feel I might have a shot at getting the thing done!

Congrats on the launch! It has been fun to watch this develop over the months. I love the photography and how the flourishes have been captured.

This will have no problem reaching the funding goal, but I can't help but feel it is being held back by the shipping. Another tweak you could make would be to show some better images of each tuck design. We only get a small thumbnail of the blue and red tucks in the tier descriptions and it's a bit confusing to have the prototype featured in the campaign when it is not offered as an add-on. Regarding add-ons, will you be adding any images of the jumbo version or the e-book or the uncut sheet? The more info the better and it will lead to more sales! I want this project to fund well beyond the goal but these issues are causing hesitation.

i answer shortly because i am a bit tired but will probably take time to develop further tomorrow!
first and foremost, many thanks for the feedback, it is a first project and it is very cool to get advice on how to make things better. The main issue as it is is that i think adding elements to the ks implies shutting it down and restarting it and I must say i feel really uncomfortable at the idea.

That being said: the feedback you give here has already been given yesterday and i hear the forum concerns regarding them. I will of course find ways to find better solutions for the next projects regarding them (mostly, shipping and different versions appearing more consistently). The idea to add the option to pick a deck as an add on is very neat and for some reason i did not took it into consideration....

Regarding the jumbo deck & other add ons missing pics, I unfortunately don't think i can add pictures on the ks now the launch is made but i will probably share some here. For some things, it will be closer to projections than to the real thing because, I plan to fund them with the ks money and if I already worked on similar projects (even previous version of the cards, for some), i don't have a prototype of the final rewards. I have files, plans and technical know how and can share previews of what it would look like though.

I hope it answers your current hesitations (and unvoiced similar ones) and I thank you again for having been a long time follower of the project, with consistent and helping feedback!

Is it not possible to add elements to a KS page as the project is running? Surely things can be edited without having to cancel the project and restart.

I only looked quickly after yesterday feedback but did not find a way. That being said after tomorrow i will have until monday to figure this out fully, so i really hope i’ll find a way!

There has to be a way as designers do it all the time - the last 2 projects I backed had several changes/additions along the way

From what I remember, if it's about the rewards, once someone backs the reward, you can't change anything except for the 'Late Pledge amount' and ending the rewards (making them unavailable to buy). However, you don't need to restart the project to add photos or add-ons. Just end the old rewards and recreate new ones, which should help you fix most issues.

And you can change almost everything in the story and basic sections. Good luck with your project! Try to include more add-ons, mention your printer, and share it in some Facebook groups and on Reddit for more visibility.

I shared on reddit at some point but might reshare it, the main sub i share it in is playing cards, if you know some others that could be interested, you are very welcome.

Facebook is a bit trickier because i fumbled and forgot to talk about the project on dedicated groups there and now i feel people aren't engaged with it but I try!

more updates soon! (we reached 94 percents this morning and my brain is playing tricks on me ahah, every new treshold i reach I panic that i won't reach the next. Anxiety is real lol)

Yes all your investment and positive feedback was really appreciated ! The campain is not over just yet so who knows, maybe you’ll have an opportunity !

On general news: implementing all the changes is going to take a while and the schedule is really busy lately (with some very frustrating freelance related issues but i digress). The good news are that on thursday night i am supposed to get a break in my schedule allowing time to consider how to implement the changes!


Finally: 135% i am impressed! Among the other things i have to figure out: how the heck will am i supposed to add stretch goals ^^

Hello There, so I have started reworking the ks, for people who wanted to contribute at a sweeter price I think it is better now!

I still have to put more pics of the other versions of the box and for some rewards, sadly some seem to bug and i can't really tinker with them for some reason...

I also added stretch goals because why not
