Pandemonium is the holographic gilded version.
Is the artwork for the Pandemonium and Beastiery versions the same?
Yes

I am curious if that version with the white and holo will have different cards or if it is just a tuck swap.
I think every deck has the exact same cards except for the gilded one which is same cards plus gilding.

Our individual compulsions are not Gio's fault. ;)

I'm not trying to armchair diagnose anyone, but my experience among collectors, and fandom in general, points to a significantly higher percentage of obsessive-compulsive and autistic neurotypes than the general population. I won't go off on a tangent, but anyone interested in this topic should feel welcome to DM me and I will gladly overshare.

Believe me, I must exert effort to resist the completionist impulse.

I keep smiling at the "Committing to the Bit" :-)
I'm not sure if it's a good thing or a compliment, but it's fun.

I meant it as a compliment. :)

I think it also relates to being a perfectionist, which can be good or bad.

It's good if you always follow through on what you start. But it might mean you can never be satisfied with a finished project. Or even worse, you don't start on something because you are not sure you can execute it perfectly. I'm afraid I fall into that category more often than not.

individual compulsive behavior lies with the individual but that doesn't mean it can't be used to an advantage. No claims here, just saying

These are the decks that I could think off which implied this.... randomness:
  • Of course, our dear friend FONTAINE who had created tens of random deck series - and due to him impulsively releases them, the brand is under the brink of extinction.
  • Variant by LotusinHand - 51 different decks, each has its own back. When you get how many decks from them, whatever back you got will be as they are, and YOU CAN'T CHOOSE.
  • Unbroken by Seasons - I believe one design is 1 of 52? And you get what you get, unless you are Russian billionaire who can by all of one each.
  • Egypt Mythology by FC Designs - the Standard has four tuck box variants and the Special has two tuck box variants, you are made to choose what color you want UNLESS you get the same amount of decks and get to choose one of each.
I figured that this randomness is purposely made so that it gives you message that "you DON'T HAVE TO get them all", but then it all comes back to yourself of controlling your OCD.

I think maybe it is to have reduced leftover decks and help sell the higher tiers that have all the decks.

It is LIVE now
Male a choice…. Succumb to your OCD to get ALL 8 variants of Basic OR just pick up a few of Basics and accept whatever “Chaos” you encountered

Looks like there is no guarantee that there will be no duplicates if a few Bestiary decks are purchased and the prices are probably going to have me pass on this. EB price is 43€ for the Pandemonium deck, really? The decks have a nice design, Gio did well.I am curious to see how the campaign does, from the sidelines.

The 'no guarantee' clause is mainly a precaution to cover any unforeseen circumstances beyond my control, as this campaign is quite unique and may involve unexpected challenges. That said, I’m confident there won’t be major issues, and I’m optimistic that GW will be able to deliver all the different variants, at least for the Kickstarter. They are specifically organizing fulfillment for this purpose.

No no! I will try to send all different decks in every pledge. For example, if you add on more Bestiary, GW will add as many different variants as possible. :-)

I think the general styling of Thirdway's decks is really interesting but I don't like the design of the queens. If the queens ever decide to wear shirts I'll start picking up decks.

The tucks are really nice. Normally a completionist but not gonna swing for 8 tucks this time.

I stopped buying TWI decks a while ago (nothing against Gio, just had a great plenty of them) but took a look at the campaign. For an upfront tuck swap, it's doing really well. He's really got a strong following.

I didn't realise he had made an anniversary deck (similar to Loreno's upcoming Patreon deck) with cards from all his decks over the last 10 years. Very cool. I remember when he won the contest to get started in this hobby on the "other" forum, very cool to see how far and how many decks there have been in that time.

Although a Patreon deck, you can get it via the Monster Box tier. Nice.

With no reward tier to just back for a single deck, I'm out on this one.

Check on the browser or desktop as it may not be showing up on mobile for some reason. I pledged one early bird deck.

While I complain about the gilding price, I then go pay 45€ for a gilded deck from Lotrek on the same day. I'm a silly illogical human sometimes. At this point, Gio is very well-versed in what the market can bear so I can't really have any qualms with either creator having earned that privilege of pricing how they see fit. It may price me out, but there are many others to take my place.

45€ doesn't break my bank in any way, only my sensibility. Others can have my place too.

I'll walk my last statement back a bit by saying it was early, I was tired, I saw the second pledge tier being 43€ for the gilded kingstar deck and said to myself, wtf? Then later I saw that if you buy a bunch of decks it becomes cheaper. My bad. Congrats Gio. I still pass but maybe on the next one.
