My Osprey and Goshawk have been sitting on my desk for a couple of weeks as most new purchases do (before being catalogued and filed) and I must say that I have come to appreciate them much more than when I first opened them.
Undoubtedly anyone that purchased these vintage style decks had to be more than satisfied with the tucks and the courts
I am a real 'backs' fanatic and it is this aspect of the decks that has really grown on me
I bought them for the backs and although I liked them from the get-go, I did not love them - but I do now
Especially the Goshawk. They are a great red and I think the kinder face/disposition of the Goshawk portrayed appeals (this is also probably why I like the Goshawk jokers and AoS better too). It was a masterstroke by Alex to include the 4 small heads in his beautifully patterned back design
One tiny criticism of the tuck is that I feel it would fit 58 cards better than 55
