That is their jam. I would have gotten the ninja turtles deck if they hadn't dropped the ball on character selection.

TMNT is okay by me, since I like Master Splinter. The bits of dislike is, yes, like you said bout the characters selection: this guy who doesn’t read the comics, have no idea bout the arctic fox and the fifth turtle

And yeah, Piazza is right, T11 make a VERY KILLER tuckbox, but the the cards are…. Well, and people are always right about: “don’t judge a book by its cover”

Perhaps someone could make a deck that has an appauling box, but beautiful cards

T11 in my eyes is still a good bang for your buck. I've lost interest in their decks long ago, especially since I'm not a huge liscenced theme guy.
I still picked up a blue Harry Potter deck and the Stranger Things deck for the tuck boxes alone and maybe to match my Stranger Things Lego set which is kinda weird, since I haven't watched a second of Stranger Things till this day, haha.

I wanna guess that the back of the cards would include: a two-way artwork of Superman’s pecs reflecting bullets

I am hoping for a lot more than that, I would be horrified if it was just the S - even a Metropolis back could be good, saving the characters for the courts

First look at the courts—I'm loving the colors!

I love the Roy Lichtenstein simplicity and boldness of the illustration work so far. Can't wait to see more, and to have a few of these decks in my hands!

To give them credit, it was a response to a comment on their post, so it was public.

Nice, I also had emailed them to ask and got the same response. Hopefully they get the message that people want to know!

Two more images, they launch tomorrow at 12pm ET.

Welp, I am NOT feeling that card back (Supes looks emaciated for one), but Jor-El looks awesome.

+1
It will be a pass for me, if I don't love the backs I do not buy
Why aqua? (This isn't The Simpsons) Why not the colors manu showed in the tuck tease

Great AoS but too much yellow and aqua for Supergirl - she only needs pink instead of the red and she would belong in a Simpsons' deck

Some research this morning, with nothing to do with Superman or comics led me to this page

https://comics.ha.com/information/actio ... reprints.s

An interesting read and never having been a comics boy (my Superman love came from The Adventures of Superman - George Reeves B&W TV series) I now understand the origins of the AoS

Thanks for the article! I think they missed another Action #1 reprint a few years ago, when Action Comics hit the milestone #1000 issue. I know I own at least 2 reprints in my comic collection.
