Norse Medals Campaign for reference:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/65 ... rse-medals

Those Norse Medals look fantastic Trevor. I wonder whether they ever minted the number that that KS suggests were available, if they did they would have 1,000's lying around somewhere

Do we know when those alternate versions he made previously will come out? If ever?

Still haven't ordered any of these, preferred that art so much more.

There’s plenty of discussion on page 1 about this. I would recommend going back and reading through it so we don’t have to share the same information again.

I didn't see the original price estimate for the Mordor set, so that might have helped me back it. Ignorance was bliss. Still, my thought was $25 each including a box for it and fairly cheap shipping. That seemed okay. It certainly wasn't some amazing deal. My bigger problem with it is I am not a huge fan of the "special" back. The new back is kinda "meh" for me. But I like the "Mordor" marketing. Go to the dark side and stick it to Mr. Grey Beard.

Lmao I should've checked; it's all about the Archaic. In my defense, I have far less time to devote to UC than I used to and I've started skimming. But glad to know it's coming! Let's be honest, it is far superior to the current editions, not that there's anything wrong with them.

I’m in full agreement. No slight meant, I made the same comment and saw yours so I knew it was on the previous page.

Let’s see if Jackson stays true to his word. I’m not sure he will actually release it but I hope he does.

I would have grabbed a coin, but not for $45 plus whatever shipping would be. I would also have preferred it to be 2"/40mm. 3" is too large to be a good card protector.

Yes 3" is a VERY large coin :|

I like the tuck and cards in the triple set, but don't think I want all three.

Or do I? Hmm.

EDIT: I do have a Lord of the Rings sized hole in my collection. (Although I do have some amazing pins.)

In the interests of full disclosure, I ultimately decided to grab a Mordor set when I backed the project. Also getting one of non-foiled gilded, two of the foiled gilded, and one puzzle. Although the puzzle is $5 more than was teased, the final price is the same price as it was for the previous puzzles. And, while Mordor is $15 above the original tease... as noted above, it's not outrageous at $25 per deck when all the other variables are taken into account (new art, foiling on both sides, gilding.)

I gotta say, JR is a very savvy businessman. The quick survey at the end, the careful gauging of the pricing... dude is being very smart about how he's handling this campaign from the business perspective.

note that if you were one of the ones with an eye on a separate half brick box (empty) they added one, but apparently 'every word" that goes on the page has to be approved by middle earth inc so there is no mention of it yet.

I REALLY didn’t expect that Trio decks set… when I am expecting Vol.3, I would go for one of each decks to keep up with the Vol.1 and Vol.2 (minus Legacy because, I am just a lowly peasant)- and then… the Trio Decks set happened :/

I am fearing for my life now DX
On other note: the simplified design of the Trio Decks set is quite have the similar design to Mistborn - character on top of foiled background

Excellent, two of these boxes can help me house all the Volumes: non foil standard, non foil gilded, foil standard, and foil gilded

and you heard of the one ring but now Jackson has come up with the one deck.

Sort of a combination of the courts from all 3 decks plus a new card just for this deck (Gimli and Legolas)

Just why? The Trio Deck set isn’t enough?!

I guess Jackson is in euphoria on the last volume of the trilogy, it seems.

If these are available in BackerKit, i save it until then

Laito you don't need to quote if you are answering the post immediately preceding yours - saves a lot of scrolling on big quotes ;)

Man there are too many editions *waves cane emphatically*.

Honestly, all I want is the gilded foiled edition. Since there isn't a KS discount, I'm in not particular rush to get it since it'll be on his store for the same price after this campaign lol.

Gotta say as much as I don’t care for the whole series and still will wait for the OG design ed. - that Sauron KoC somehow hits my spot.

Not sure if you caught JR's reply to your comments, but it won't be available on Backerkit.
Anything "Kickstarter Exclusive" will NOT be available for add-on during the Backerkit process. If you want it, pledge for it during the campaign. :)

Not sure what the incentive would've been to wait for backerkit anyways.

I just want to split the pledges, so it wont be heavy in one go

But ya know what, since he said that ODTRTA edition wont be in BackerKit, guess I have no choice to blow it full

TBH, I had the same thought as well. Split my credit card payment into 2 months. The USD forex rate is extremely painful for most non-European backers.

Sadly, it's not to be. Still USD8 int'l shipping for 3 decks is amazing. Glad JR is helping us out there.
