I even saw there was an open 2 deck early bird (probably vmagic's), but I didn't bother. I'll keep my single early bird for the neatness of the deck, but that's it. Doesn't look like it will succeed anyway. Oh well.

That was mine.. I noticed a single deck early bird opened up so I actually downgraded....trying to think about the future. Essentially keeping some funds open towards the upcoming Sherlock series..

Like I said it was just an opinion. I for one am getting tired of the whole same deck, different box thing, especially if someone must resort to that in order to get funded. Also it's pretty weird for someone who's trying to get a project funded to demand someone cancel their pledge no matter what one has said.

Yep. Everybody is waiting with baited breath at this point, since not much has been heard recently. I'm sure hoping this one doesn't end up gracing our new "Hall of Shame"!

From Kickstarter update:
Ok Guys here are the proofs. I finally got them from Bicycle today! There will be one change on the tuck boxes. Bicycle Legal department did not like the fact that the designs/lines around the "Bicycle" logo looked like it was part of there logo. So I had to remove that and resend it to them and then they will continue with the printing process. That is done!

Below are the proofs and also some pictures of some other add ons. The dice look amazing!! I am also very happy how the cases came out also. As we receive other add-on I will post pics.

Well, obviously I'm one of those holding my hand up, but I'm not holding my breath any more. If he comes through I will be pleasantly surprised, because it's the oldest outstanding (unfulfilled) project I ever backed, and I have had much sketchier decks come through!

Yep, don't doubt that, because it's how many try to bail out a project where they used the money for something other than what we pledged for - in other words selling enough of his previous decks to be able to afford the shipping he needs to do fulfillment of these. It would be interesting to see one (if it exists), which would frankly take the pressure off, but everybody in the comments section is still asking for an update - quite a few just over the past few days.

Can you share what he says on last update, becouse non backers can't see that, or you are not allowed, i'm just curious.. So the problem is not that uspcc is holding the deck, but that he didn gave them the money... or he have the decks but no money for shipping, if i understand correctly. Also i noticed he didn upload a photo for deck proof.

Meridian Update

Hey Guy here is an update on the Meridian cards. All add-ons are in except the mini decks which we are expecting next week. I have contacted Bicycle and we re still on the cue but we will get into the printing process by the end of the week I was told. There was a hold up in legal they wanted to make sure all the art work was original, clear and also some of the art had to be tweaked (format wise).
I also want to offer an explanation on why the process has taken so long this time compared to my other projects. First we didn’t get funded till towards the end of the project so that was a hold up. The art work was 100% completed after the project got funded, so that took some time. Then came the issues with bicycle with the art format, legal department and then the cueing.

With the cue, there is just so many Kickstarter projects out there. So since they had to wait for the art from us, then the bicycle requirements that just really put us in a bad position. So we apologize for this delay but we are moving in the right direction.

Btw: "cue" probably means "queue" Sounds like they just did rookie mistakes though, hopefully this deck will come to be in due time.

Ah, after this update i don't see any reason for worries. Very well explained and i'm completely sure everything will be fine. I just hope eu shops to buy this deck and resell it when is done.

He does have a Facebook and while it has been a while, I believe he'll come through. This is the deck that got me started in collecting so I'm holding out.

I hope this isn't my first Kickstarter rape though it's just $8. He was one of the creators that noticed how foul others were at the time and seemed like he wouldn't go that route.

Yeah he got Allure series, soo good decks. I still believe that this end good...Who would expect this might be fail. I noticed other project have proofs, did he show proofs in his updates? And ya can somebody contact uspcc and aks them if this deck is printed or being printed or smth some info...

Andreas Ohlmeier from Germany (he is backer) says he got some backstory info about this project maybe someone ask him.
Is it possible someone to buy this design/project/license (collectablecards, elite maybe) ?!

I messaged Noel, and received this:

"Hello I'm not sure what your name is but my dad has been in the hospital for awhile now. He is not doing well he's physically not able to do anything right now. I am answer some of the questions on his behalf but I can't do anything else until he is out and he goes to therapy. We are trying not to tell him what's going on so that he is not stressed about this situation. He needs to recover but he will address this all when he is able."

I'd had some nice friendly chats with Noel in the past, and then one day I gave some reasonable critical feedback to a design he posted in a forum and he went off the deep end, claiming I was some kind of hateful egomaniac and without asking he canceled my pledges to his project and just disappeared. It was odd, to say the least.
