Just saw one set for 359.99USD, I understand you want to make some money but come on that is next level ridiculous and greedy.

I'm baffled that people are actually paying these prices for a friggin metaluxe bicycle deck of all things.

I received my decks a few days ago, that were loose in a bubble wrap envelope. As I anticipated when I opened the package, they were dinged.

Clearly the shipping issues they promised to fix have not been resolved. I'll be contacting USPCC later today to see what they say. Since they (most likely) cannot offer me replacements, I wonder what kind of crap they're going to pitch me. I'll be sure to keep you posted.

Here it is for the signed ones. No clue about the others.

These guys baffle me - even when they ship me in a box now they put the deck in a single layer of bubble wrap and toss it in a large box with a little paper - so it can bounce around

It’s really not that hard for them to figure out - they can order a deck from pretty much anywhere and it will arrive to them in proper packaging so they can send it over to their research team to examine.

Which is so bizarre. When I ordered the Peacock decks from them, they were packed perfectly. It made me think they had resolved their shipping issues. Guess not. One of their employees is communicating on Facebook expressing hearing the community. Apparently they will continue to address it with their shipping partner, but this has been going on for far too long.

UPDATE: They actually sent me 2 new decks! They must have reserved stock, probably 10% like everyone does. They took no chances this time lol:

Good customer service, but the real test is if they do it again. Time will tell...

Bicycle Metalluxe Orange

Unread post by brownsl »

I saw this listed and it looked like it was just the gold version. I bought some anyways and it is indeed orange.

Maybe there should be one thread for all these decks.

Could someone please clarify if there was only ever 345 of these sold or if there was additional runs? I bought a pack of Magentas from Bicycle directly because I liked the color, the website said they were limited but I did not notice anything about a specific print limit. I did not think much of them since they were simply in stock on the site. Opened them, they are fun backs but worst centering I've ever personally experienced. Did I open a rare deck worth $100+ or were additional decks printed? I don't see any difference between my tuck box and the ones I am seeing listed as 1 of 345. Thanks!

Yes, there is only one Bicycle Magenta Prototype run and it was 345.

How much its worth is how much people are willing to pay for it at the moment, which will vary wildly - and open decks are worth less but not worthless.

Lel, USPCC in a nutshell.
You want to reclaim your mind and get it out of the hands of the cultural engineers who want to turn you into a half-baked moron consuming all this trash that’s being manufactured out of the bones of a dying world.
