That is a great image and I feel the same way. I try to figure their campaigns out, get tired of it, and then don't pledge.

So, their most recent post says that the purple deck and the green deck will only be available as Add ons. I really don't like that they do that.

I’m in for a minute, confused as ever - countdown to me changing my pledge a time or two before dropping out has begun..

Left with both the feeling that I have not selected what I wish and the feeling that there is nothing I wish because its just too much at once.

I can say this - were it a grand spread from one of my favorite designers I would be all in at the price easy enough - so perhaps that should be my measure - are these guys one of my new favorites? Nope. Nifty - but all the campaigns are oversized and my love for the cards always shy of marriage

Once again I fall pray to starting the backing process of one of their campaigns. Thinking these prices are not too bad and then .... BOOM! Shipping costs are seen and I tap out. It amazes me the support these campaigns get.

I think that's a great way of looking at it - people like different things

Having looked at the campaign, I would've bought the full colored white deck from Halidom and Devildom, just the decks themselves. I'm not going to pay $76+shipping to get 4 decks and 2 boxes in order to accomplish that. I'll have to pass.

I do have concerns that such intricate and detailed art will not translate well to the playing card medium but we'll see once they're actually in people's hands.

I'm really undecided on this one. The HOLO and "Mystery" finish they describe on the campaign sounds intriguing, and looks awesome in the couple videos they show. I don't think I've seen anything like that on cards before. But they aren't using that on the classic sets, only the more expensive ones. That purple deck in particular looks great, but I have no interest in the leather box, and as it's only available as an add-on, I'd have to at least get a separate classic set, which would put the total at $127 including shipping. Which is more than I really want to spend for three decks. I'm backing for now, but there's a good chance I'll back out. If I could just get the purple and green decks, without the boxes I'd be in for certain.

I am in agreement with the above comment. I really like the decks. The boxes are cool, but they take up so much damn room. I went in on that purple Devildom set because it looks great. As for the Halidom, the Dark Silver set or whatever it's called looks nice, so I went for it. The company does good work, so I am not worried about any quality issues. Shipping is excessive, but the boxes are large. That's why I did not want to go all in this time, unlike the previous campaign.

The KingStar Monkey King deck did something similar and I'm sure there are more out there. If we let ARK do all the talking, everything they do is an innovation

Daamn, it's $150 for the box set that those Monkey King cards come in. The "Mystery" finish part still seems different than I've seen before. The embossing on the cards is different for every card to match the art on it (that's the claim anyway). Can anyone recall seeing that on anything before?

Am I the only one who thinks these cards have an odd interaction between empty space and filling space with as many busy elements as possible? The design is really nice, but somehow I don't see everything fitting together.

the art looks great on both. the textured holo thing looks cool. the classic box set is actually priced decently without shipping. however, i am simply just not going to support this type of campaign behavior. just say no to forced boxed sets and gating decks behind buying other shit.

Hence, I will be marking this brand as the “Elitist” brand ever in the playing card community

I really, REALLY like the theme for this time, hence I got hooked in and this is the first time I back their campaign after their six “mindblowing” campaigns
While I really like to have them all, I am NOT as “elite” as the other who can get them all.

Bruh… this is another time ARK doing their: “We are the first to do this” - but in slight of their defense, they didn’t claim they’re the first (unless if I am wrong). PS: I still don’t get the hype on KingStar Playing Cards

I wish there was an option to pledge a set where you get one each of the basic Halidom and Devildom decks. $38 for the individual sets is a nice price, but if you're going to want want both Halidom and Devildom the total will be over $100 after shipping and taxes. I might just get the Halidom, because these look gorgeous!

IF ONLY that can happen, but nothing will ever change their formula in releasing their projects - their Classic Set will always include that single project in color and grayscale, there's no mixed pair :/

I am on the fence about buying this one because of the cost but the art is so gorgeous ...

I canceled my pledge on this one. The green and purple decks are great, but $75 is far more than I'm willing to spend on a single deck. And I have no use for or interest in a leather box. If they had done these in a wooden frame like with the Azure Dragon campaign, I'd be in as the frame is actually useful, and priced right at $45. The classic sets are a pretty good price even with the shipping ( ~$50 each), but I'm not interested in the grey scale versions of these decks. So I'm out.

Yup, jumped ship yesterday.

The choice is easy again... I'll get the cheapest classic set (Halidom edition).

Yes that pic, don't know what you mean with similar vs same, but they have the same paragraph for angels, only the titles and bottom label are different.

I'm concerned because I backed those boxes

They contain some of the same text, but are indeed different - and I’m thinking its because they are all angels, fallen or not.

That's a true theological statement but it's still not correct based on the concept. Devildom description is describing the "Halidom" place, the tuck box for church corridor (which is Halidom's), and also the ace description with 8 winged angel.

Indeed - I was more curious than I am informed

Angels, as I recalled, was actually... much more creepier than you could imagine - the actual description of an angel is that they might have multiple set of wings as well as hands.

Those drawings of angels appear to be human with angelic white feather wings and pure clean clothings are the sugarcoating them.
I like the illustration of Halidom Ace of Spades - it holds a sword and a scale (represent justice), and hands covering ear, eyes, and mouth (the three wise Monkeys)

Anyone here in contact with the people behind this Kickstarter? When I first pledged, I thought 100% for sure that I chose the Halidom basic 2-deck set. But when I checked the recent survey they emailed me, it appears I backed the Devildom deck set. Argh!!! I wanted the Halidom set and I hope it's not too late to change my choice.
