I went off the beaten path in the end (well, early to tell if it is the end - I often change things around a few times before a campaign wraps) - changed to one Day deck and one Metal card.

You and Jody know a thing or two about quality metal cards. :ucstar:

THE DUSK DECK will be available starting tomorrow (Wednesday) [May 11] at 10am (MDT). For a limited time you will get a chance to get DUSK at a great Early Bird price of $50. After the first 24 hours the price goes to $55 for the rest of the competition.
I may have to drop the metal card and maybe even one of the two regular decks and get this instead... sadly I can't justify ~$120 on this campaign :(

I’m sticking with Day and the metal card - holding the line

If it turns out like rendered, $50 is a bargain for the Dusk.

It is a mighty sweet tuck

He always had some cool collector decks in the past. Nice to see he upped his game by doing this Dusk tuck now. Jackson, go over to Jody's place and see how you can raise the stakes from the book boxes to something like this! :ugdance: Always love it when designers raise their game to another level. Lorenzo's still in front with his 17th Kingdom for 2022 though.

Dusk decks are now live  Right now I'm also getting a Day deck - might drop it and only get the Dusk, we'll see...

Yeah, I really hope it's as great as it looks :ugthink: :ugthink:

Seeing that the tuck is actual leather and the foil on the fronts (took it for white on first site) I have rethought my passing on it - I’m in.

I love to see that Jody keeps trying different things and upping his game.

I thought this was an interesting tidbit from a KS update today :D
Here are the numbers for all you collectors out there who really want to know the final counts:

Kickstarter raised: $51,075
Backer Count: 557

Production Order Count: These are the numbers I am giving to the production managers.

Dawn Deck (Standard) - 619
Day Deck (Full Foil) - 667
Metal Card - 306
The Arena Case - 287
Dusk Deck (Gilded) - 269
I would have liked the whole set of course but ended up pledging for only the Dusk edition - very glad I could get it on its own :ugthink: :ugthink:

I totally agree! I did get them all but I love campaigns that are straightforward with the ability to get what a collector wants. Kudos to Jody!

I agree as well. This is what has kept me out of TGW campaigns. I usually am only interested in a single deck, but they are locked out unless you back high level tiers, which contain many other unwanted decks. I wouldn't even mind paying the higher prices if I could back for only the deck I was interested in.

I got the Dusk edition, the tuck is awesome (extra glob of glue aside!) but all I can think is how amazing the cards would have been printed at Cartamundi - I think there's a tree or clouds or something in the background of the pips but I can't even tell what it is :? The soft lining inside the tuck is a nice touch, but I'm still taken aback at the lack of a regular tuck at all! The cards are just loose in the book box

My only gripe was wanting some sort of tuck, even if it was white with a square cutout in it for the Dusk edition. The cards just freely move in there and it doesn't sound pretty. Other than that, phenomenal presentation with the embossed box enclosure as well as the box set. Nice one, Jody!

If you go look at the pics on the Kickstarter page, you can see the background is supposed to be a kind of hazy weathering. I guess Legends just wasn't able to print it that way in foil.
