We are getting a lot of messages requesting the Captains Crate so I made 50 available as an add-on. This is a very laid back campaign so if there is anything you would like to change please send a DM and we will try to make it possible if we can.

Awsome outcome. Great to see creators work with the customers.

Doc's is great in my experience
Most creators are nothing but helpful when there's a problem, will try to work with you to get what you want, etc. - luckily I've only had two or three not-so-great interactions with deck producers and resellers

1) Can we do a mini deck?
I ordered a prototype to make sure it can be done. When printing on small items the image may not have as high of quality as it should. The prototype will be here around the 18th of May. If it checks out good we will make them available as an add- on.
2) What does the back of the coin look like?
The golden coin is basically a 1000 denomination chip.
3) What are the USPCC tucks and can we get some?
When we order decks from USPCC the tuck comes printed. Once we receive them, we repackage each one into a nicer foil tuck that has been printed elsewhere, we add the seal, cello and then send the decks out. The USPCC tucks are throw away and rarely released except maybe as a special autographed deck etc.
I know several of you want the decks to use for games rather than collecting so the foil tuck doesn't matter as much. Let me work out how we can release those and I will make it happen.
4) Can I get a Treasure Chest half brick box if I pledge 6 full size decks?
Why Not! Any combo of 6 decks will now have a Treasure Chest half brick box.

The chip set looks good and tempting. Folks here collect 'custom' poker chip sets? What do you all think of the ones in this campaign?
As someone who is a bit of an expert (I have collected casino/poker chips for over 25 years and worked in the poker industry for almost 20) I have some real reservations.
First, the denominations on offer are all wrong. The general rules is that each succeeding chip should replace either 4 or 5 of the previous denomination. So in this case the correct offer should be something like 1/5/25/100/500. No idea why 2/3/10/20 /50 are being offered.
Second concern for use on a poker night is the colour selection. Colours need to be distinctive on both the face as well as the edges so that they are easily identifiable by both the player and his opponents, including across a table. I have concern that the 5 and the 100 chip colour are two close together (I'm ignoring the other denominations as they really shouldn't be there for playing purposes, just for collecting).
Lastly I'd be a little concerned that the design might come across too muddy on a ceramic chip. I cannot who is making them but likely a Chinese source as I believe but am not certain that US manufacturers of ceramic chips dries up some time ago. Regardless, printing that sort of detail on ceramic with such dark saturation is really hard to pull off. Maybe they will do it, hopefully for those who back they will.
Oh, also be aware that these are coming in a plain box, so you would probably want to get a chip suitcase off ebay if you plan to buy enough for a poker night.

Strag,
These are actually “game chips” rather than “poker chips”. Board gamers use the 2,3,10, 20 and 50 for board game play. The photos are the prototypes which I must say turned out well. As a former Table Games Manager I have had the luxury of opening 4 casinos which allowed me to oversee the procurement and design of poker chips on a large scale. That being said, the one thing that is off to me is the orange 100 denomination. Unfortunately, as you said it’s hard to print dark colors in detail on ceramic. For that reason we had to make the change. It’s still little on the weird.
Cheers,
Doc

My lord does anyone know how to contact this creator? I'm one of the unlucky ones who's subjected to the 'replacement decks' but seems that the creator is MIA and I have yet to receive anything.

He last logged in to kickstarter June 4th, 2023 - so he does still exist…
I did go in on the Tough Luck v2 campaign for the minis and a $1 mixed brick - quite a good deal, should they arrive

How good would the backs have looked if it had made the full color stretch goal
