Not to forget what "standard" means for Lotrék, haha.

Friends, I love Lotrek. I've been backing his work since waaaaay back. Way, way back. Love his work to pieces. (His delivery times, not so much.)

But.

When he says, "this time, I have a varnish so perfect you will go back in time," I'm going to have to put on my skeptical face.

Because... he's made that promise before.

I'm just sayin'.

Lotrék's recent decks handle quite awesome, one might even be inclunded to say exceptional - for what they are; multiple hot foiled decks on your not everyday standard paper stock without a company backing him. That itself is a huge achievement in my book!
That said, I'm a hundred with Allan, haha. Lotrék likes to exaggorate in the handling regard. I'll believe it when I've handled it, period.

When are these orders supposed to ship out again? May? Of 2027?

They always seem to wait for the public release until they ship the decks ordered at the Patreon release. Plus it's Oath, maybe he made the fulfiller sign a "ship not too fast, I got a reputation to take care of"-contract.

I used to laugh at such jokes in the past. Now they are starting to sting a little bit.

I sent the preorder list about 10 days ago. Last time I checked (Friday, July 1st) they said that the orders are being packed.
The public orders will go to 52Wonders after they ship the Patrons decks. I hope they do it on Monday or Tuesday the latest.

For me it's kind of the other way around, it stings a little bit, so I make jokes about it.

I have to agree. I have been paying for Patreon for almost 2 years now and so far have only received Moresque decks that I had to pay extra for. There was a lot promised but so far not much received. I know it's the Lotrek joke about always being late, but yeah it's starting to be more than a joke now. €38 a month since Oct 2020 is quite a lot of money.

Just got a notice from 52 Wonders that shipping is scheduled for Thursday. I don't know why it took them that long, probably other decks in the line.

I know that some (if not many) are tired of the delays and I'm one of those people. Maybe I'm the first... However, after completion of the Royal Silk (in a few days) production-related delays will be a thing of the past for good. I have already 2 other decks (OATH standard) completely finished and one (ICONS Anniversary) just waiting for tuck cases. I am printing ahead so that in the future any possible delays will be related to logistics and will only be a matter of days.

As for PATREON, I have finished CMYK printing of the PATRONS decks and in September I will be ready to fulfill 1st Year. In late October I will fulfill 2nd Year.

You'll miss my delays, trust me...

No, not yet! I will do it soon but I want to have real printed samples to show instead of mockups that I HATE!

Just because you repeat it doesn't make it true. Trust me when I say delivery times don't have to balance out your exceptional decks. The universe won't implode just because you deliver in a timely fashion 😃.

Not yet. Looks like the seller on eBay is from the Netherlands, so I wonder if US shipment hasn't gone out yet.

It shouldn't be, but it's always surprising to me when I encounter people online that live near me (I'm in the Seattle area too). It's like my brain somehow thinks people online exist in some alternate dimension.
