yea I usually back your projects with the largest (non-monsterbox) tier and noticed the price was significantly higher... Went back and looked at the tier offerings and price and this is like $100 more than the average for the last few campaigns ($247 USD) and most of those offered more decks as part of the tier reward as well

I'll just have to go for one set this time. All of of the brick sets are long gone anyway. I do get that production and especially shipping costs are going through the roof right now. When I got to the campaign there were 200 backers in the short time it took me to pick and back a tier I ended up backer 207. I know, I am such a shame to badpete

For everyone that missed the boxes (Venefica and Atropa) - I've opened some more slots

The reason of the increased cost of the Venefica Box (compared to other boxes released previously) is that it includes x4 Gilded decks and x4 foil-on-back limited decks.
So far I've never offered so many gilded in the same tier

Love the poison deck, just like all of Gio's designs. i am a bit disappointed that the courts are the same on all 3 decks. just colors are different. obviously the tucks are different as well and the jokers are different. normally, the courts are all completely different between versions. except maybe a gilded version of one of the decks. i dropped from getting the 3 to just the 2. i don't really need a gilded version of the aspis deck. i think it is great that the KS limited deck actually has more available than slots available instead of doing say 888 decks for 1700 backers.

About Peacock, if you are a Yearly Patron, please write me via Patreon and I'll check what is happened. If you are a monthly Patron, it's normal, Peacock is the reward of Oct/Nov/Dec and I'll ship it next month, alongside Monolith Sagittarius.

This project is a bit different than others - it was born to be a "simple" Patreon deck, but it grown on me and I've decided to turn it into a Kickstarter "last minute". Probably the next project will be more similar than the others I've did in the past (with fully custom courts).

I am not sure about the part on the availability of Kingslayer There should be less than 888 Kingslayer available and less than 600 backers slots in total. I admit I have unlocked some rewards without counting the exact number, but from tomorrow I'll count accurately and I'll lock some rewards

the comment about 888 decks was not directed to you. i appreciate you making enough available for all. it was a comment about other campaigns knowingly make a number so limited that not all of their backers will be able to get one.

Ah! I understood now about the limited numbers - I did my best to keep the campaign fair for everyone.
The "unannounced launch" and the rewards opened randomly are working pretty well, but if it will continue like this, there will be someone that won't be able to get a Kingslayer (or their desired reward).

Definitely an amazing set. For sure the best he’s ever offered. It’s hard to resist the temptation to get it, but I already have too many of all of those decks. And my wallet would hate me. We’ll see if I can hold out until the end.

Like, wha.... I know that most KS campaigns from celebrated creators eventually always funded on first day, but the funding period that only opens for 7 days, that is something. Gio, I am guessing that you already have the decks ready so that it is short time period

They are limited edition. And I guess he can sell what he needs to. I kinda like this short term. And the monster box.

haha thank you, that was exactly how Poison was planned. Pick the reward you want, eventually add Coin/Uncut sheets and that's it. I will do more simple campaigns like this, probably easier both for me and the backers.

I am planning to publish the story of Poison, maybe on Patreon (if I'll do, of course also backers would get it).
And yes, there is a strong link between Poison, Order, Black Market and Galaxia - you basically revealed it.

I am evaluating to do a TWI "Big Book" that includes all the hints, the secrets and the stories of all decks. It will be very long and I will need assistance by a professional writer since my Ita-english is too basic to write proper books.

@Bikefanatic - Belladonna is not bundled You can get it on its own if you want to. Only Kingslayer needs to be included with the other two.

@laitostarr777 - The decks are not ready, but the production started almost 2 months ago. If all goes well (considering that winter is the worst moment to produce, everyone is rushing for holidays) the decks might be ready for early 2022. I'm hoping that, actually.
I love short campaigns, people who like what I do usually pledge during the very first days, so it's pointless make too long campaigns. I'm also very impatient, too

FYI there won't be new TWI decks released for Black Friday, Poison is enough for this year.

I have to admit that after Modern Idols I didn't get any TWI decks anymore - and even those I sold because I grew tired of them and the premium ed. weren't unfortunately up to the quality I'm used to from TWI.
The art styles are just too similar in general for my taste so, I'm more than satisfied with the awesome TWI decks I own. Not a knock btw. just my reasoning why I funnel my limited funds to other artists currently.
A book about your lore/mythology that would most certainly persway me to put some funds towards TWI again though; especially if I you approach it similar to your tuck boxes aka exquisite materials - I certainly would love it to be a premium hardcover.
Just don't do diffraction (holo) gilded edges - everything else I'm fine with, haha.

Knowing the folks at Kickstarter, it was the butt crack on the campaign image. You typically showcase other assets. They have unique taste. It is surprising though you have never made "Projects We Love" before now.
