Because they'd have to pay someone to design those courts which means less profit on a 5000 deck run that probably won't sell out for a while. It's all about the Benjamins.

These are packaged in bricks of 6. If you purchase 6 decks you will receive it in an unopened brick. If you order 24 you will receive an unopened case containing 4 unopened bricks.

USPCC, at least in relation to "exclusive" 808 decks, needs to let their designers come up with their own designs, instead of saying "There's a max cost of XX cents per deck. Run wild, but don't cross that price point.", and may them MUCH more limited releases. 5,000 decks is a LOT. I filled out their survey a few weeks abck and said the same things. Hopefully, they'll listen. I'd even pay more to be in the club for the privilege of buying decks like that.

I thought I was the only one who thought they were slacking in their card making. I thought they have their own company artists to design cards but I know they worked with other companies to have it done. This deck looks like it could be sold at Wal-Mart.

No sign of the deck yet on Club 808, but there is the uncut with the name "Amber Stag" for $9.99

Interesting. I ordered one of the uncut sheets *before* they posted that there were only 100 of them made. We have been asking for something truly limited in Club 808 for a while, and I guess this is their first try. Edition of 100 from Bicycle "factory release" is pretty exclusive, and I noticed that they sold out within a week of them making note that there were only 100 of them. When they first posted it, they didn't make mention of that fact.

Anyone interested before I punt them on ebay? I'm not really an uncut sheet collector, I just wanted to see what the "factory" versions might be worth if you held onto them for a while. Apparently I hit a lucky shot!

Ideas as to the true value? Obviously, if you have one of these, you have 1% of them ever made.

They didn't do custom courts, but they did make them amber everywhere the red normally is except the pips. The backs are brown as opposed to amber. The amber/gold color doesn't show well in this shot, they are a really nice tone which is exactly like those shown for the deck shots, not the washed out look shown here, and I agree that they used a filter to shoot the tuck case shots, but of course - there is none with an uncut sheet.
