I'm so glad BOLD has reached its goal. It is well deserved and I hope it will make even more. I'm sure this will become a sought after set of decks.
Also, being so close to Elettra I've been able to sneak peek into the .. Experimental 1818 edition and... well... it's extra cool

I gotta say, the new "1818" version is a bit too..... ahem... BOLD... for my taste. Too much gold makes things looks gaudy in my eyes. Still in for a Standard and Deluxe though!

The 1818 deck is definitely Bold and I love it. In for a couple of them.

Yep I agree. I like the 1818 tuck, it's bright and shine shine. It's similar but I like it more than the Quartet box the extra touch of complexity really makes it pop. Mr and Mrs Bold with gildy edging going on. Pretty sweet combination in my opinion.

I dislike most gilded decks because the gilding almost never enhances the design and is just there to get deeper into the collector's wallet. That said, the 1818 is finger-lickin' good. Some decks are just meant to be gilded, that's one of them.

I've got to thank too many people supporting me, here.......
I'd like in particular to answer to @Harvonsgard, as I appreciated his note and there is something obvious (but not that obvious) that I want to underline.
The most decks being gilded are decks, gilded. I mean: of course one cannot produce the cards needed for 100 decks specifically for gilding them (you probably know that MoQ with USPCC is 1000), but normally also the boxes are the same. So for short the typical gilded deck is: standard deck (or upper version of the serie) with standard box (or upper version of the serie), but with the inner cards gilded.
And I don't blame this choice at all, as changing the so-called cliché for the box, or the paper stock, or the foil, is very expensive. I know I'm a newbie, and there are a lot things I have to learn, but I see this market is getting more and more competitive (btw, big brands set small prices for quality products and it makes things even more difficult) and too spendthrift productions don't help.
I wanted to go big with Bold 1818, as this is my first gilded deck ever. So the box is totally different from those of Bold STD and Bold Deluxe and, unlike the most common gilded decks, it is designed especially for storing the gilded cards. I think - or rather hope - that looking at the box one will immediately think "OMG, that box must cherish something precious like gold"

With some patience, Bold will be completed... But why is USPCC so slow? I can't wait to get the playing cards

I received my rewards earlier this week. The whole thing was wonderful, especially the 1818 Deck. Great job.

I was really looking forward to this, because I like the design. But was anyone else disappointed with the "gold metallic ink" of the Bold Deluxe deck?
Here's the ad copy: "
Bold Deluxe is the collector's variant of the Bold Playing Cards series. The playing cards feature gold metallic ink on both the faces and on the back."
On my deck this just looks like a brown, and doesn't look like gold metallic ink at all. It certainly has no shine or reflective bling, unlike some of the Theory11 decks that use metallic ink, such as the Medallions.
For anyone else who has the Bold Deluxe deck, what did you think of the "gold metallic ink" supposedly used on the faces and backs?
