Well, as sad as it is, you have to basically become a sniper or a whale to win an eBay auction. Just the way it works out.Bradius wrote:Hey, at the starting price, I'm in. I saw all the watchers and didn't want to see it just sit there like that for 10 days, so I kicked it up to $22.22 (I like the repeated digits thing....)Bradius wrote:Hey, at the starting price, I'm in. Same here. I've spent a small bit more than that on cards, but it was for a special hard to find brick. These two decks are cool and all, but they are not Lotrek cool.hsbc wrote:I can't lie, if I were (really) rich I'd bid a crazy amount to win thisBuuut it's already about ten times what I'd like to pay
As far as I know, it is not legal. At least here in Germany. I don't know if you still can pull your bit out. Just in the case if your account got hacked or else.Harvonsgard wrote:I'm not that familiar with eBay and auctions. Do I understand corrcetly that, for example, r***1 and 3***7 can pull out the last second and then 3***0 would win the auction with his $65.66 bid?
Bidders can retract their bids. In fact, r1(104) (aka tf(104)) has had two bid retractions over the last 6 months.Harvonsgard wrote:I'm not that familiar with eBay and auctions. You don't know how close I was to bidding $69.69 when it was at $55....but I am trying to clamp down on my childish impulses.hikeeba wrote:Harvonsgard wrote:(Geez, I hope they don't both retract. I don't want to actually have to pay $65.66. I just did it to see all those 6s.....)
