That was a hard Job between us, mainly on my fault. Thank you very much again!
Yes I will, but to make it exciting I will post a photo of it when I get it. 8-)
I could post a photo of all your decks I got, and people would need to figure out what you sent with my PF52, since I updated it. :lol:

The problem for me is the high shipping costs! Even if I'm from Italy.
I would support this and many other projects with normal shipping costs ...

Hello Andrea!

I ship from the USA, so everywhere else is "international" shipping for me - however, I guess that shipping cost shouldn't be too high, I actually charge less than the amount I would pay (of course because some of the shipping cost is built into the deck price).

If there is something strange, report it, I'll fix of course.

Grazie!

Giovanni

For me (GER) it is 9 Euro for the Trident. Which is actually really good!
If this is wrong and it should be less let me know. :lol:

It's fine - and I should have lowered a little all the shipping cost to EU compared to my previous campaign. I usually pay around $11-$15 for ship a trident in Europe FYI

:D

I would so love to be able to as you get some nice treats; I did with the Modern Idols campaign as I joined forces with Tony (justplaycards).

I screwed up when setting the alarm and well and truly lost my #2 spot from the last two campaigns lol oh well still glad to be a backer as always! I've already said it somewhere but I love how the architecture is implemented and it's really what makes the deck great, if it was just some faint background it wouldn't work/would suck.

Nice touch making different courts for each deck. Little odd they all have the same face, but nonetheless, nice work.

I've always loved the colors on Thirdway's decks but I don't know, something in the artwork just wasn't reaching me. The backgrounds and the celebration of one of the most beautiful countries are just what I needed so I've finally jumped aboard the train. Congratulations on a quickly funded project too!

This is a really good point, and I agree with you that the color scheme is not striking as always - there is an explanation, though. I wanted to use the exact Pantone colors of the italian flag and I wanted a more "classic" and "elegant" look compared to my others.

However, the colors on the screen (especially the red, after Kickstarter compression, and the gold) are not good as the real ones.

Anyways, I'm glad you're here again! I hope the final product will be way better than the renderings.

Anyways, after this project I'll start again using crazy colour schemes :uggrin:

Thanks to everyone for the incredible support!

I've just unlocked a big stretch goal :-)

Foil on back, probably Metalluxe (first time I'm using it). USPCC staff was so kind to send a proof despite I haven't confirmed yet, I'm also evaluating Cartamundi's Cold Foil:

I am very impressed, looks like Metalluxe is hot foil (slightly embossed) and it's VERY reflective, more than any other foil I've ever saw - I can use it as a mirror (this is not necessarily a good thing) :uggrin:

I have did a silly video > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jOW5sR_ ... =emb_title" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I hope you'll love this improvement!

Metalluxe > Cartamundi cold foil, imo. One question is that a card back proof? It is, right? So that means that USPCC can do Metalluxe from edge to edge of the card now?

You are right that Metaluxe is better, but they can only do 1 color, as shown in Jody's Sovereign Exquisite deck. Whereas you can get do multicolors with Coldfoil, like what Montenzi has done. (from what I recall, I could be wrong) Considering how colorful Gio's decks can get, cold foil would be better, no?

I'm a hundred percent subjective with foil. Hot foil simple looks better imo - far better I might add. I choose one great looking colour over multiple not as good looking colours. Just my 2 cents. Of course multi colour hot foil is better than both. That's why Lotrek is the King of Cards. :lol:

I always try to choose the best technology for the project I am designing, but I have no real preferences. I think that technologies, like colors, can be used strategically for achieve certain results.

Metalluxe is more bright and reflective, a little less accurate and emboss the card a little. Cold foil is less "aggressive" and more flexible (i.e. if I'll do another "Black Monolith" I'll use cold holofoil again hands down). Metallic Ink is not bright as foil but it's super-flexible and super-accurate: I am very proud of White Monolith despite it's not foiled at all.

I wanted a "white" back on Italia Divina, and since Metalluxe is very bright and I have just 1 color, I'll probably go with it. I confirm it will be full-bleed, I've asked this directly.

I have no idea about how affects the handling, I heard from other that is great... but I have no direct experience. Honestly, I am also oriented on Metalluxe because I want to try it for the first time :P

@Harvonsgard - Hey, I've used 3 hotfoils on a back too !!!

Haha, you're right I forgot about Fortuna, but you have to admit Lotrék does it himself or at least supervises the process. That's something only Lotrék and Jackson (for some of his old letterpress tuckboxes) can claim. No offense - I still love your work, Gio. :D
