If these were held off from release until the end of the month, I'd be most appreciative.

Looks like the deck should be called "Football" instead. Looks like it's made out of pig skin. :)

I'm really hoping to see something interesting with the courts. In other news, I legitimately had a nightmare last night where I had awoken only to discover Lotrek had had a surprise sale of his newest deck during the night, which of course sold out right away and I had missed out completely. Harrowing.

Hmm, I had a dream too.

I climbed the Olive tree and grabbed a brick of Fable Decks from a castle in the clouds. I think it was you, Adonael, that I was running away from. I think you were the giant demanding your deck back that I stole while you were napping.

The fable continues...

Brad - it seems to me that what you have there are not magic beans but rather magic mushrooms [emoji23]. Your visions are becoming increasingly vivid.

Humm...no magic mushrooms. Definitely not. Those are VERY dangerous. Have a friend's daughter that took what was supposed to be an edible mushroom and it didn't go well. [MURRAY] No magic mushrooms.

Humm...Bruno. I miss Bruno, but can't replace him. I may be able to spin a story, but I am not very poetic.

I could try to channel Bruno. Maybe get him to send me some posts to include here again?

Now, I saw a nice deck around here somewhere that I dropped last night....

I am getting a serious sense of FOMO on this one. I may not be able to back it if the price is really high, but I definitely want the chance. Any news anyone has seen elsewhere? Or is this Fable simply a work of fiction? A fantasy? Excited for this one...

Among other things, I am sure he is busy with The Oarlour tuck boxes, brick boxes and such. Keep in mind he does that stuff in addition to his own designs.

Heh, that made me laugh!

So, Fable is my most sophisticated and complicated printing so far. The goal was to print on a velvet black stock and still have a very bright result. I did a test print where I used two layers of white ink plus 4 metallic colors to do a first test print. I am very happy with the result but it needs some adjustments so as I can get the colors and feeling I want. I have played with the relative opacity of the various inks I used and making the files for the printing was a real headache as while working I could not see the final result, I only could imagine it. I'm very proud I got very close to what I had envisioned despite of "working in the dark" and based only on experience and imagination.

Based on the test print, I can say that FOMO is the most reasonable reaction. This does not apply to the stubborn TwoPiece of course.

This is just ink on black stock. You have never seen such printing on playing cards before!
