Since I haven't been able to receive a direct answer to my question from Nick, do any short sub folks know if I want to get a standard Plum Pi, could I also add this standard deck to the delayed shipping program of my subscription? Because $31 ($16 + 15 shipping) is way out of my range, but I don't see any option to defer the shipping cost during check-out.

Can you tell me about this delayed shipping? How do I go about setting that up? I havr a normal sub and have been paying 5$/month for a single deck.

As far as I'm aware it's only available for non-US subscribers.
Man. I wish I was paying $5 a month.

Standard Plum Pies are on sale now to everyone for $17.
Delayed shipping is only for non-US subscribers. Jackson has mentioned domestic shipping will go up closer to actual cost. I think that is for folks like me that get more than one deck. I am sure more information will be provided once he gets a handle on how much and when it will start.

Ah okay, thanks for the reply. There were 55 gilded plum pis left from the general public release window about an hour ago.

Bradius wrote:I was just checking his website and there are still 62 Gilded Plum Pie decks. There are 755 Plum Pie Standard decks available
. I forget how many were available, but there may be fewer of those out there than the gilded version! That also doesn't bode well for the series if KWP can't sell most of the decks of the first deck.
Hes said over instagram live that 2500 plum pis were printed, murphys magic is getting 1250/half, 300 were going to gilded and kw site will get the rest, so 950 standard. That seems comparable to other limited first run decks out there.

It is a good thing that i read this forum, otherwise I would not have guessed that I have to buy the pi series collection sticker page. With this year’s subs, it came for free and I have sort of assumed that it would be the same here... Well, we all know what happens to people who assume...

Do any of you guys know how often the Pi decks will be released?

Yes. It will be about once a quarter. Next one should be released in early 2020.

I'm very surprised at how long it took for the Gilded Plum Pi's to sell out... they were still available as of yesterday or the day before..

I have a pretty stupid newbie question: How do I know or where can I find what decks are coming up for the short subs in the following month(s)?
Also, what's the November deck?

KWP has a calendar on their website, but I don't know how up to date it is. I find the best way to keep up is to follow KWP on Instragram and join in on his Instagram Life shows. One should be coming up in a couple of hours when he holds his weekly auction. You should join it. Before the auction, we get updates and can ask questions. The actions are also lots of fun...to watch.

I got my Plum Pi deck in today! But I also ordered the pie sticker sheet and that part wasn't fulfilled - I didn't get it and my order fulfillment status is marked as "Partial"
I'm assuming it'll come later - did this happen to anyone else?

I ordered the decks first but forgot to add the pie sheet so I ordered that afterwards separately so maybe they'll come together or not.

I imagine the sheet has to be mailed in a flat envelope. So, it doesn’t work with a playing card box.
I did get my prototype Eye Glasses Deck, but I want my pie too! Where is my pie?

Can someone post some more pictures of the courts and the number cards?

There are pictures of the courts on the KW website:

There are pictures of the number cards (and more) in this Instagram post:

BTW, I got my Plum Pi standard deck but my sticker page wasn't with it (I ordered them at the same time). Do the sticker pages come separately at a later date?

Also, this deck is now sold at several major retailers, at least I'm seeing it on Vanishing and JPGames now

I got my decks yesterday. I'll probably never open my limited edition deck because I know what the people gilding looks like.
This deck has no seal, which I like so if you have extra pie pieces, you can place that on back of a deck to pretend to be one.

Looks like the next Pi (chocolate) could be out at the end of the month.

For members, it'll be available tonight!
I guess future Pi decks will need their own thread.

Somehow, people just keep forgetting that back design is also an important element for a deck of cards to look good:
There was a "Limited Edition Chocolate Playing Cards" last year that was distributed to retailers:
So... remind me again, what does this edition have to do with Pi again?

Chocolate Pie is a thing.

Unless that particular card is a gaff card like the Back to School crayon or the Tiger LTD matches, or else the back design of this edition is just a chocolate bar, and I don't see the appeal for that.

Yeah, this is one of the few times where JR's theme didn't fly and a rare occasion where someone did it better. Little connection to his Pi/ Pie theme.
