The Spanish seller has again a new listing! HERE. 1969, in that wooden box... BOTH decks sealed. The asking price is 375 USD or make an offer.

Keep in mind that skooks88 got the exact same set (1969 printing, wooden box, both decks sealed) for 335 USD back on July. For those interested, I would start offering with that number.

Wasn't me. I checked ~1pm local (5am for Roope) and it was gone then. Not that I could have afforded it after Alex Chin murdered my wallet 36 hours before.

I wanted one of each set, I have the two decks separately in tucks, the set in the leather case, and the set in the wooden box. That is probably pretty crazy.

Dude, listen to yourself. There is no probably in this. Seriously nuts. It's okay to say it. You are with friends who would happily raid your decks stash when you look away.

Another set from the same Spanish seller. 1969 version with the wooden box, red deck sealed, blue deck opened but in new like condition. Asking price is 325 USD or make an offer.

I am personally thinking about making an offer on this set...

The same Spanish seller has an another listing!

A blue deck, in a traditional tuck box for 135 € or make an offer. 1969 version, cards opened but in new like condition, tuck box in great condition looks like. LINK TO THE LISTING.

This seller has been reliable (and amazing at packaing, at least with me) and usually making offers has been a good way to make the price a little lower. Something to consider, if you don't want to spend close to 300 bucks to get the full set.

Here are my Dali decks, including a tarot deck. I have one more set of the red/blue decks but could not find them.

Of course it pops up barely a day after convention and I’ve promised myself I gotta be an adult for a week or 3

Unopened double deck listing currently on ebay. Price at the moment is at 123,50 USD with 5 bids, 2 days and 17 hours left in the auction. Shipping is from Virginia.

Both decks unopened and if memory serves me correctly, that outer packaging means also that these are from the original printings. Go nuts.

With eBay protections, how risky would something like this be though?

It should be fine, especially as a buyer, but it can also be the hassle and lost time of dealing with it. Wasn't saying not to do it, just to be careful.

I have seen several of these for sale, a quick search now finds many - I know that there are original series of these that are pretty pricey and I think the net may be loaded with lesser copies - but for those that covet such things, they are out there to be coveted…

From my memory the real signed ones are in the 1 to 3k range…. I think there are original paintings and lithos

Reproduction or not, I thought they were cool and worth posting over here :ugthink:

I think those are original paintings from the look of them - and indeed - litho or paint, worth having - just letting people know to watch out for which is which should they be buying

The lithos should have a number over the edition size where the EA is - not sure what that denotes though

“Salvador Dali Playing Cards is comprised of 17 images of the A-K-Q-J of each suite and the Joker. The edition size was 400 plus proofs. We currently have sold the complete suite of 17 cards. You can view the information about each suit by clicking on the images of that suit shown below. The paper size is 25 3/4″ x 19 7/8″. Each lithograph is numbered and has been signed by Dali.”

I was able to purchase a set in a box that has two parts, not the foldable box, for $115. Which edition would this be? The seller recognized they were selling it at a steal.

Unrelated, would this be a 3rd printing?

I think that Dali Design is separate from the card production as I see nothing marked that way on my set, so perhaps put together? (though still Dali)

I guess not actually, as I don’t have tucks…. Some printing must have had tucks, perhaps all in such leather cases - haven’t found any others of either…

I see these in a lot with some other items for $67k…. in the style of mine but different printing for sure, and with tucks…

Interesting, so Dali Design may have taken the individual tucks and created packaging for it.

The one I bought (which I placed a picture of in my previous post), does not have the "PUIFORCAT" debossing on the box, but I'll inspect it when it arrives. It also doesn't have tucks since it's in the box.
