Daniel Madison has been a dumpster fire of a human being for a long time and I'm of the opinion that no one should support him. Sadly he has too big of a following and I don't see him fading into obscurity any time soon.

If we can protect one of our fellow cardists from shelling out their hard earned scratch for products that don't exist, then this thread was worth it.

By the way, one of his followers, 5 of Spades I believe also ran the same scam as his master...I have seen DM constantly prop him up and show off how loyal this guy is to DM, yet I backed the 5 of Spades kickstarter well over a YEAR ago, and never got that either...thoughts? He had posted a few updates on KS, but not since November.

Huh, I had no idea that guy (Yassine Boudraa) had anything to do with DM

I also backed the 5 of Spades campaign (my mistake) - just recently one person posted that Cartamundi never received an official order, and another person said that Yassine messaged them on Instagram to say shipping would be in three months

Not holding my breath on that one either, and I am starting to move away from the KS campaigns unless it is someone I have successfully worked with in the past. It took me a while to make the connection, but when one of our members on here mentioned The 52 society that DM is in, and each member is named after a card, it was connect the dots for me. One thing that anyone who thinks that they were scammed needs to put in a claim within 3 months of the initial transaction, otherwise I do not know of a way to go back any earlier. At least that is what my credit card (visa) said. Also, I am getting emails of responses from Malliance members on Patreon defending DM, but because I was booted, I have no way of responding. Great, just what I need, a bunch of magicians after me...if anyone finds me sawed in half you'll know why!

If his pyramid is collapsing, it is just a matter of time. Best to be far away when the dust cloud shows up. Let his defenders close ranks for when in falls. Sadly, I am afraid some of them likely know what is happening and are just providing a smoke screen so the illusion can last longer while they prepare for cover. Sad.

What's really irritating is the glaring cut mid-card-toss as well as the inserted "tearing" sound that's obviously added in post. Camera "magic" is the absolute worst.

Hey, just curious if Daniel Madison ever sent you the cards you paid for? I have been waiting for over a year. I was in the Malliance for over a year. I paid good money to have exclusive access to playing cards...that I have never received. He keeps shadow-banning my YT comments, and finally deleted my user account from the discord server. I have no way to contact him now. Did your cards ever arrive? THanks in advance!

Yes, I did get some of them (but not all) eventually, about 10 months later without notice, but that seems to be better than many including yourself did. There was no tracking on them and they arrived in a non protective box, just loose and rattling around in there. But I did get the m-ists, the trawlers and the charlies.

I though Daniel Madison was a great guy when he collaborates with Chris Ramsay to create the Kings and Knights playing cards - teaches the marking of Bicycle 1800s, his Confession series....
But after reading this, I don’t think he is in my list of fav magicians

He probably is a great guy personally, but from what I heard, he burnt out trying to go into the whole playing card business alone without the E support. The logistics are a nightmare if you're not setup for it nor have the right help needed to sort it out.
