I’m in for a standard. Im new to this kickstarter.
I’ve been having fun with collecting cards less
Than a year.
The signature version is too expensive for me too.
I was a fan since seeing the Anubis and Osiris decks.
So I’m excited.

Those might be his best decks IMO. But I've never backed any of his limited, signature, etc. versions. IMO "regular" Minty decks are so good you don't need the extras. Not to mention I hardly ever back limited extras.

EDIT: I just realized that there is no mention of printer anywhere. Do we know who's printing this? Based on past campaigns it's either EPCC or USPCC. Based on pricing I'm hoping for the later.
I also see a metallic ink stretch goal but what I really wish is that there was a MetalLuxe stretch goal and/or upgrade (assuming it's USPCC). I would definitely pay more money for a foiled back version. Either way the foiled tuck stretch goal had better be reached because I think the tucks will look lackluster without the bling.

I'm hoping for USPCC, too. As we've seen with the Royal Bee and Eva decks, their metallic inks can almost mimic foil.

I think we will likely reach the tuck foiling goal.

Foil on the backs would be amazing. I agree the tuck will be meh without foil and embossing. If that isn't reached I will likely pull my pledge as I don't think the courts are all that from what I can see.

*sigh* This is ... I love Steve's work, but ... these 4 decks aren't worth $65 and change each; by the time it's all said and done.

I didn't like the Thorns & Roses designs enough to back, and these feel basically like a... a reskinning, I guess? Of that design.

I like Steve's work generally, but I'm not a GoT fan and the artwork here just isn't my thing.

I agree about the art. The gold on red looks bad. And his black Queen is missing the Q in the corner. I'd like to see how he handles the Clubs on the bodies.

I've backed for one of each of the standard decks. While not specifically a GoT fan, I am a fan of this motif / theme.

Same. I saw Season 1 of GoT. Just don't care for it. Both of my brothers do love it, though.

I saw the first season, but it seems like after that every episode was like 20 or 30 minutes of some man/woman screaming because he/she was either:

a) Being raped
b) About to be beheaded
c) Someone they knew was just beheaded
d) All of the above

I think the overall world and theme of the books were good, though. I mean, it's high fantasy, which is a great theme for card decks.

Stretch goal #2 reached! Tucks will be embossed to go along with the metallic inks unlocked in stretch goal #1. Woot!

I am in now for just a pair of decks. The cost of the limited decks is getting a bit much, even for me. I guess that will make them even rarer as not a ton of folks are picking them up at this point.

At first I went for all four decks (it's Steve Minty!) but the more I look at them the less I like the red and gold; as Merlebird said, it's similar to the Thorns and Roses look and I didn't like those.

I've knocked it back to a silver standard and matching coin … but the red and gold coin does look nice.

I'm thinking of pulling my pledge... there are a few other decks cropping up that I prefer and it's a big pledge I've made on this one. I'm just not as into it as I thought I would be.

Fair to say that at the very least, Steve is going to have to put some love into showing backers the merits of the limited editions. To date, he has shown 2/5 of nothing on them. People will not stay in at this hyper price without some confidence in what they will be receiving. You can't trade off your reputation from past projects to the exclusion of adequately informing backers on your current offerings.

Anyone know how fast does Steve Minty's secret sale go? Do they sell out fast or you have time. IE: Lotrek pre-orders fast vs Lotrek Arabesque and every deck before that which sell out in minutes.

Depends on what is available, but they usually sell out pretty fast...maybe not minutes, but within hours I would say

About the secret sale, can some experts explain a little bit about the Standard version and Foiled version of Anubis and Osiris. I'm kind of confused, as the Standard version already foiled...

There are only 2 versions of Anubis and Osiris.

The "standard" versions and the Gilded Signature Editions.

Is there something somewhere that suggests otherwise?

@gacktvam, I think you got "foiled" and "gilded" mixed up. All Osiris and Anubis are foil printed on the back, but gilding is about the edges.

He also words his campaigns poorly. Like the Ascension tucks being foiled, he sent out the update saying, "the decks will be foiled". Most people would take that to mean that the back design will have foil on it. He's weird.
