No, it's the fact that Victor pledged to the campaign
just to throw shade at the project. That type of behavior is pathetic. I think we have all publicly agreed, here at UC, that the price is just absolutely ridiculous. We're not all pledging to the Kickstarter and submitting degenerative/hateful/spam posts, though.
Not defending Victor here, but isn't that what you did on the SVI project?
In that particular case, it was the first (and hopefully last) time I pledge solely to comment negatively about the project and/or creator with the clear intention of deterring backers from supporting a KS, but this was a situation that absolutely warranted such actions to be taken. To have even made the comparison, I can tell that you really don't quite understand the seriousness of the circumstances that led up to all of us each individually making the decision to comment as we did on that project page so I'd suggest that you keep your opinions on that matter to yourself since you were not the one personally targeted and cyber attacked for the better half of a week as I was. I don't regret what I wrote on that project page, and have decided to keep my pledge up until the very end just so that my comments stay 100% visible to the public and everyone backing; if this makes me a bad person, than so be it - I'm not ashamed or bothered in the slightest

Well apparently i'm in interesting company as Devo just did the same thing on CPC's latest deck, lol.
I was only trying to inform people of what I think regarding his projects.

No, no they didn't. They pledged to a campaign to make the public aware of their concern that the deck is infringing on his own designs.
You joined this campaign to throw shade with literally no meaningful intent. It's not even close to the same thing. You can voice your opinion without being a 100% dick, Victor. Why you choose NOT to do so is beyond our understanding.

Kindly step away from the name calling. Thank you.

The only reason I backed the project was to warn people of what I felt was exorbitant prices that continue to go up with every project. Why should the card be selling for that much money? And why do people continue to pay for them i'll never understand. I just wanted to share with backers that I feel they are being ripped off by the creator. And like I mentioned in the comments this creator is no doubt laughing all the way to the bank with all the money he is making off of them. I would have thought this community would have been more understanding but I guess not.

The backers are aware of the money they're pledging. They're not 15-years old and you're not their dad. I'm sure you've heard the old adage, "something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it." The rest of this wonderful community voiced their opinions
on this site and in this thread. We didn't attempt to deface the campaign by falsely pledging to the project and leaving unnecessary inflammatory comments. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Woah. That got hot quick. Not entirely sure what you are disagreeing with, what Flyers said was actually true, regardless of how honourably the ends justified the means in this particular instance.
Is it just me or is everyone here a little testy at the moment? What happened to the fun in this place?

Well, the art work in my estimation is very solid. I hope to see something from the artist for a more general release and maybe using USPCC or Cartamudi as the manufacturer.

What flyers3003 said is not true, though. What happened in the other thread and project is
not the same as what Victor did to this project.
The SVI Group came to UC, sent threatening messages to users, and phished for personal information. Members of this site posted to that creator's project to warn them about providing personal information to a person/group that may exploit that information.
What Victor did, is fake pledge to a project because he doesn't agree with their price, and insult both the creator and his customers in the comments section.
It's not close to the same thing. People are testy about things like this because we want to maintain a respectable website and community (regarding Victor), and the SVI Group attempted to use this site to retrieve private and personal information that every member should be able to feel safe that it's protected.

chopsin,
It's okay, the artwork on the cards is great, had they been $10 I would have pledged. It's the creator's attitude and marketing approach that is the problem.
As a consolation, check out the The Planets: Neptune playing cards campaign on Kickstarter if you haven't, yet. Great decks and accessories for way less than $75.
