Thanks for all your support on this campaign guys. It was a real challenge and I don't think we would have been able to cut it any closer. We've learned a lot from this campaign and will be tweaking our methods in the future to make our decks even more desirable and accessible to the people who want them.

In the end, a three deck pledge with those special prices costed 35 € or 41 USD shipping included to Finland. I think that is quite a fair price, considering Joker and the Thief will most likely again kill it with the tuck box, I also quite like the design (again)

I pledged since day 1.

So it's been 3 months with no updates. No word on the digital proofs, physical proofs or the printing. I have zero idea what's going on right now with this campaign. I'm not a backer that needs constant updates as I trust creators as professionals, but 3 months and not a word?? Come on!

Oof it’s been a while since an update. Good news! One is coming in the next couple of days. We have received the physical proofs, approved them, have the stickers complete, and pins are done too! All the details regarding this and printing will be in our next update. Keep an eye out!

Yes, Sunish is one of the best at updating.

According to the latest update, the Maidens are now printed and are heading to the fulfilment center in San Diego tomorrow.

Joker and the Thief are also launching a new color of the original Joker and the Thief deck, called the Street Edition, which looks like to be just a black and white colored version. It should be coming out on April.

The name and color scheme sound kinda awful. I'd like to have the complete series, but...

Joker and the Thief just put the following comment to the comment section of the Maidens project:

"Hi Guys,

So sorry for the lack of communication. The boxes are finished and the decks are assembled. We have requested photos and are waiting on those. We are just finalising some payments for fulfilment and the decks will be going out to all of you. We estimate that shipping will begin by next week.

We're fully aware that this project has run WAY over time and we're quite frustrated about how long it has taken for these cards to be made.

We just wanted to offer a huge apology for the wait and a big thank you for your patience. We know that Maidens will be well worth the wait. We'll post an update as soon as these start going out to you guys.

These have shipped last friday. My decks arrived today to Amesterdam, I most likely will get them next week or if I am lucky, at the end of this week.

Has anyone in America received theirs yet?

According to my USPS tracking number, mine are scheduled to arrive tomorrow (Tuesday) by the end of the work day.

My Maidens decks came in today. I can take this deck off of my long outstanding list. Hopefully someone else will open it up and tell us what is on the inside.

I didn't back this project, but I'm also dying to know how the colors on these cards came out - if they're as muted as they appear, or more distinct; please someone post pics lol

I don't have an actual scanner and I have taken all my scans with my phone so I would rather not be the one to add these to Portfolio52. So someone else, please step up

The metallic ink effects on the cards are well done. Likewise on the tuck, both inside and out.

I have a half dozen of the originals, and will grab one or two of these should the price be right - but the “without having to pay above $80 on eBay” marketing line grinds my gears

This is easily my favorite Joker and the Thief deck. I’ll be happy to pick some up with foiling.

I thought that it at least shows that they are aware of aftermarket scalpers/highballers and they are trying to help, ofc I can't be sure and their price might be 79. Why does it grind your gears though o wise Gandalf
