Do you plan a spare "low cost" deck for showing the cards and reduce manipulation risk on the real cards like Jackson do with independence ?
No, the nature of the deck does not allow for a cheap version. You got to keep your children away, Lolo!
![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)
Thanks, buddy: I was getting ready to say the exact same thing - almost word-for-word. There's just no way. Without giving away anything more than I already have, they are going to be different than any deck you've ever seen, and the process itself precludes them being made 'cheaply' or even a similar "play with" deck to be accompanying them.
(and yeah - I played this for all it was worth, buddy! How are thing going on your fact-finding expedition to Venice? I haven't breathed a word, but I know you're headed back to Athens tomorrow, right?) Dum-dum-dum-dum-dum-dum - dum - dah, duhhh...

Nope. Try again... Hand-made, essentially, but not exactly. There's something distinctly different about these.

Lotrek has somehow captured moonlight and has woven that into the cards and tuck

Just to make it clear:
They're not hand made but I'll be watching and supervising each step of the production in a way that you can say I'll be handling the machines.

And some things, yes, will be done manually.

hand inked plates, manually rolled, precision cut with a plotter instead of punched out. Each AoS hand-signed before finishing.

I think Jackson had a very good idea with their spare decks for the independence deck, didn't he ?
Lotrek's deck would deserve a spare deck for display and demonstration purpose as the independence decks.
It just a suggestion, but i think it will add value to the original deck instead of devaluate it.

It was a good idea - but that was about a basic tuck swap so you didn't have to break any seals - trust me in this case it just won't work.

Jackson provided the display decks so that people could appreciate the cards without opening the tuck. In this case, there is no seal which means the cards can still be enjoyed while maintaining the pristine new-like condition.

Oh, good lord! We are taking notes, though... I'm thinking it won't quite be THAT exotic, but - it'll be worth the wait (and torment)...

Done before - lots of angles on that one when USPCC still had the UV-500 paper stock. I suppose not "Glow in the Dark" exactly, but "black light".
I'm certainly not going to put radium on the cards any time soon...
